thank you, FINALLY someone mentioned that doing maintenance tasks takes up the majority of our time and gave suggestions on how to deal with this issue. it's been one of my own biggest blocks and I'm still figuring out how to properly manage it. thank you Tayla for sharing, great video! I've found your channel a few weeks ago and I've been binging your content whenever I need a motivation boost 🤍

Thank you for this video. I can totally relate to it being currently in a cycle where I am not managing my maintenance bucket correctly and letting stress, anxiety and procrastination take over. I also have an issue managing my energy for deep work as I suffer from sleep apnea which robs me from a lot of energy. However, if I don't do anything, my future will remain the same as today and your video is a wake-up call for me. Keep it up!

Thank you so much for this reflection. Figuring out the best way to manage it all is definitely a process, but I'm glad this gave you the boost you needed 🤍

It’s interesting as I can actually still see the “engineering brain” in motion here! It’s the attention to systems and efficiency! Thank you so much for your videos X

loved the video and how you express your thoughts!
please explain in a more detailed way about what do you mean by 'creating life systems'?🙏🏻🙏🏻

      So glad you loved it!
Life systems are basically 'routines' or 'rituals' that make your life easier - from step 2!
      They're basically a way to
      1. Group a bunch of smaller tasks or habits together so they feel less overwhelming
      2. Save time in different areas of your life by preparing in advance (ie. meal prepping, weekly planning)
      3. Make it easier to work towards your goals

@@TaylaBurrelloh so its like the morning routine but throughput the day! thank you☺

Yep! I would say ‘routines’ have a start and end and you do them at a specific time, but ‘systems’ are always running in the background (like a brain dumping / life organisation system). Doesn’t matter too much but that’s how I see them!

@@TaylaBurrellIf you are looking for any video ideas I would love to see examples of some of the tasks you have grouped together into routines/rituals! This is the aspect of life systems I have trouble implementing in my own life
