How to wake up early WITHOUT being tired (re-train your body clock)

- My entire life has changed since starting to wake up earlier - it's made me so much more productive, energised and motivated throughout each day, and given me my time back to work on my side hustles, health and happiness 🌅
But to wake up early and energised we need good quality sleep, which feels like its getting harder and harder to achieve.
This was one of my biggest roadblocks at the start of my journey.
So after hundreds of hours of researching and experimenting, I've distilled it all down into the 4 step 'REST rule' to make falling and staying asleep so much easier.
I hope it helps 🤍

Fiction instead of non-fiction in order to let your mind relax is something I have been thinking about lately! 🙌
Yes! Let me know how you find it, it’s been such a good change for me!
literally how does this not have thousands/millions of views???? girl u rlly are amazing!!! ❤
Ahh thank you 🤍
I have been following the advices you give in all of your uploaded up to now videos and I am blown away by how much my daily routine changed! I am more productive. I do not need an afternoon coffee. I manage to get a good night rest. No more Insta and Facebook scolling. Blown away! Thank you! Keep those videos coming! 💗
Oh my gosh this is incredible! Amazing work for following through on the action steps, so so glad they’ve been helpful 🤍
Love the advice to read fiction instead of non-fiction, for me it works the complete opposite though. When I read fiction, I tend to 'stay l' in that world and keep imagining how the rest of the story will unfold while non-fiction actually helps me wind down
Girl this was literally one of the best productivity videos I have watched lately! I am a student preparing for a competitive exam, and when you gotta study 9+ hours per day at the very least, you really have to make sure you are not cutting down on your health. Also thank you for reminding me to cut down on my caffeine intake 😂
Already subscribed and waiting for more informative videos to come 🎉
Thank you so much! Keep smashing it and I’m glad these are helping, all your work will pay off (and I’m always happy to give you a caffeine control reminder haha) 🤍
My biggest issues with getting a good circadian rhythm going are northern hemisphere dark mornings and a husband who is very much stuck in the “social media vortex” as I believe you put it. I actually find that if I get to bed early enough I can naturally wake up around 5-5:30, but if I haven’t slept well (partly due to a husband who is not sleeping well) it’s very tempting to just roll over and try to get another hour or so. If I do get up, I have been trying to get into a walking routine - even found a nicely lit area to walk in - but if the sun doesn’t rise until 8 a.m., it’s a little discouraging to walk with no sunshine reward. I’ve been napping in the afternoons to compensate for bad nights and early starts, but I guess naps are probably not too great if the goal is to let sleep hormones build throughout the day.
Ahh yes I could imagine this would definitely be challenging. I would really recommend getting a lightpad if you struggle with the lack of sun, and finding something else to get you excited to get up! Also afternoon naps can be really good, just limit them to around 20 mins 🤍
Girl, you are incredible! Thanks for your content ❤
thank you so much for the scientific explanations about caffeine (and about everything you explained, really!)! i definitely will try to calculate my caffeine window and stick to it, because i always feel exhausted even if i think i got a good night of sleep (my smartwatch always says i don't get enough deep sleep and now it makes sense!). the only thing i can't really implement here is getting sunlight in the mornings - where i live (spain), the sun doesn't rise until 8 a.m (7 during the summer, thankfully)
what an amazing video!! can't wait to see more of you 💗
Amazing, I know you’ll feel a massive impact! Let me know how you go!
This is great advice.
I'm going to try some new habits.
Thank you.
I love your videos! They are so simple and straight to the point. They way you structure your content helps my mind make it make sense lol thank you !! 🙏🏽☺️
Our minds must work in similar ways 🤝🏼🙌🏼

your videos are sooo good
Totally agree! I think Tayla’s a new TH-camr. I’m so happy her video was recommended to me ❤
Thank you so much for being here 🤍
I love this content! I’m trying to learn more about living in harmony with nature and way our bodies are made. 🍃
It’s such an interesting concept in our modern society! Glad you’re loving it 🤍
But here the sun rise at 7AM 😭 so what's the solution ?
Great video! Would love if you cite your sources in the description. The one about evening sun increasing melatonin is interesting, I hadn't heard it before.
Good call, definitely will make note of them moving forwards!
Great video and tips! Would love to hear your thoughts on how someone working a rotating shift schedule (a mix of day and night shifts that is not a consistent schedule week to week) could aim to get better sleep!
I would really recommend checking out some of Andrew Huberman’s work, he has a specific podcast episode with advice for shift workers I believe 🤍
@@TaylaBurrell Thank you for the recommendation, will give it a listen!
First time watching your channel and when you said you were type one I was like oh wow small world because same. 😅 Good vibes your way. ❤
Ah it’s always so nice connecting with other type 1’s, welcome! 🤍
@@TaylaBurrell thanks so much!
❤❤❤
How do you adjust your sleep after missing it for years?
Just start improving it moving forwards! You can’t do much about what you’ve missed, but you can make positive changes now 🤍
I am also wake up early at 4am.. 🙂
I couldn't read fiction before bed and just stop. I will need to know what happens next and read on. Non-fiction isn't as engaging which makes it easier to stop.
