I spent a couple of weeks researching a replacement vacuum for our home. I settled on a Miele C3 meow and bark. Absolutely love it. A bagged system was a must. I have no affiliation to this channel, just average Joe purchaser. I paid $1122 Cdn taxes in.
This video is very informative and explained well for your average consumer.👍🇨🇦

A Meow and Bark. Oh goodness we love that name! That's definitely what they should have named that vacuum! So glad that you are enjoying your machine. Welcome to the Miele family!

Can you say "average Joe" in Canada anymore without arrest?

Thank you! I was beginning to wonder if I needed to get an engineering degree to understand which vacuum cleaner to buy. This information was detailed and clear and answered many of my questions.

@@VacuumCleanerMarket I was a janitor for 27 years. I've used bagged & bagless vacuums. I would never use a bagless vacuum for my own home.

Thank you for doing this video. It has taken the guesswork out of choosing the model that meets our needs.

My husband bought me a Miele vacuum about two years ago. It is specifically designed for Homes with Pets. Prior to that I had a Kenmore that I actually still have and now use in the basement. This vacuum is 19 years old. What I do not like about the Miele are two specific things. There is not a good place to attach the floor piece when going back in forth from rug to floor piece. Second issue is the blower blows up toward face which I found annoying to my eyes. The Kenmore has a place inside vacuum to store floor piece, blower does not blow up toward face and thirdly on off right on wand. I may try to trade my Miele in. Hope this helps company or someone considering on buying Miele.

My issue with the Miele machines is multifaceted. The cost of the bags- a pack of 4 sells for 29.99 unless on sale. You need additional expensive tools and the cost of any repairs is astronomical. Miele is starting to manufacture machines in China ( Not good ) I sold mine on eBay and hardly lost any money.

So if I get an electric driven model, I can use any attachment on it, but if it is air driven, it will not be compatible with electric heads? I want something that will grow with my needs so that if/when I get carpet, I can continue using my vacuum. thanks!

You are correct. If you want something more versatile, always go with an electric head. It might be an initial overkill with your current situation, but if you choose to bring in any thicker area rugs, or decide on thicker carpeting down the road, it is the best option. Also, electric power heads get the deepest clean on any carpeting / area rugs. So you will be cleaning less in the long run ;)
