We couldn't agree more with you, Mike. We're just getting going on some of our social media platforms, but you can get a good look at the Felix specifications and unique features on some graphics we made on Instagram and Facebook. Appreciate the kind words!
I've owned an X4 for 12 years and absolutely love it. My floors are half tile and half carpet and it cleans both beautifully and automatically adjusts between the two surfaces. Now I'm ready to add a Sebo canister so I have a vacuum for each floor of the house, plus it will be easier to do the stairs. I recently got rid of a Miele because the Sebo is so superior. Thank you for the informative video!
I have the Sebo E3 in red that I bought June 2024 from an authorized dealer. I am looking to sell it. It's a great vacuum with lots of suction and the power nozzle is awesome BUT I have a small place and the cannister is aggravating for me to get around my furniture. It's also heavy for me, I am in my 70's. I need to get an upright. I am in PA and if you would be interested in a minimally used one, we could talk.
I bought a new X4 Boost about 2 weeks ago and have been using it as my daily driver. Very happy with clean and groom of my carpet, the ease of use and maintenance. I like it over my other vacuums.
Thank you so much for your thorough overview. I have watched the video where you service the D4 Premium and I learned a lot. I'm coming from an Electrolux history and nearly bought a Miele when I stumbled upon what appears to be a superior product: Sebo. Wow. I tried a Shark recommended by Vacuum Wars and it did well as an interim solution but will be saving up for the D4 after seeing the workmanship and mechanical quality. I want something that will clean my whole house and am excited there is a worthwhile option nowadays. Again, thank you!
This is wonderful insight, JBN. We hear a lot about the price of our vacuums and that can turn some folks off. But we truly believe that your dollar goes a little further with Sebo. You certainly get what you pay for AND MORE. Thank you for this and happy vacuuming!
Hello, just wanted to send a thank you to you for the information you've provided in your videos. A vacuum cleaner isn't a small purchase for us. At the same time, I'm not looking for something that's a pain in the ass to lug around for many years, like my old Dyson. Particularly given the fact I've always been a pet owner and this machine has done an inferior job on pet hair this entire time. At this point I don't own anything that does have dog hair on it. And truly, I've never had to wrestle a vacuum while using it, the way I have this Dyson. We're going to bite the bullet and get a SEBO E3 Onyx. It's causing a bit of sticker shock but with our floors being a combination of 200-year-old wide pine floors and area rugs we think this makes sense for getting the floors and furniture good and clean. I'm particularly hoping it will do a much better job at pulling dirt and small debris from between floorboards. In an old antique home like this there can be fairly wide gaps between the boards that catch grit and pet hair. My old vacuum is not picking that up unless I use a brush attachment on the wand and vacuum every inch of the cracks between boards. It takes FOREVER! Anywho! Wish us luck! We're off to buy a new vacuum. And thank you again for the time you take to share information with consumers.
Thank you so much for sharing this, Jeannine. And you're absolutely right. A vacuum cleaner purchase isn't a small purchase. But we truly believe your dollar goes a little farther with Sebo. The E3 Onyx is a fantastic vacuum and should do everything that you need it to do with ease. Please keep in touch and let us know how our vacuum is for you. Be well and happy vacuuming!
I love my Felix. It is on the heavy side so I don't recommend it for those who will need to take it constantly up and down stairs. I don't have stairs so that's not a problem for me. When my air conditioner went out over the summer I also realized how warm it gets while using it. Other than that it is the best vacuum I have ever owned.
They really need to put in the lower wattage motor from their EU model - their 1000w motor sends all that heat to you. I got rid of mine for that reason.
I recommend going to your local sebo dealer and checking them out in person. You'll get a better warranty if purchased directly from a dealer as well. That's what I did and I'm so glad I went with the Felix. I did get the parquet attachment as well as the extension hose and attachments, but it's well worth it.
I love vacuum cleaners and I'm now addicted to your channel. SEBO is so odd to me. They are the anti-Miele. I love my Miele. It's gorgeous and I've never had an issue with it. SEBO's are ugly ducklings but their quirkiness and odd looks are fascinating to me. I would love to take them for a test drive someday.
I hate my Sebo worst vacuum I have ever owned, it is so unbelievably noisy and the bags don't fully attach to the vacuum there is a gap where all the stuff you vacuum up goes right back into the air, I itch every time I vacuum.

I am in between the Felix and k3, currently house is basically half carpet half floor. Rooms and all upstairs is carpet and living room kitchen is floor but we have dogs also.
Hi! My home is 2600 sqft, with stairs, but is entirely hard floor (LVP), with a few area rugs (ranging from low to high pile). No pets, but my wife has long hair that tends to tangle on roller brushes. I went to a reputable local dealer and was steered towards a Sebo canister (K3 or E3) over a Miele, which I’m fine with because of the longer warranty, similar performance for a slightly better price, and the easily removable brush roller on the ET-1. I’m having trouble deciding between the K3, E3, or perhaps a K2. The cost isn’t an issue per se, but I don’t want to pay for more than I need. I’m worried the K3 or E3 would be overkill, since I wouldn’t be using the functionality of the electric power nozzle except for on the rugs. However, if the K3 or E3 are overall better machines and have other important advantages, I could be persuaded. Would be grateful for any advice!
I have 1100 sq ft and have the E3 and hate it. It's cumbersome moving around furniture and it's heavy. I'm going to an upright. I would not recommend a cannister for 900 sq ft.
I currently have 2 x7s for my small business. I feel like I’m constantly going over my clients hard floors with the hose just to get all the crumbs. I’m desperate to find something much more efficient and quicker.
Trying to decide between a Miele and a Sebo canister. One story, combination of large tile and area rugs with some vinyl. Mostly tile though I'm in Florida. Because of my rugs though I do want a powerhead. Leaning towards the Sebo just because it seems like an engineering marvel
They’re both great. Go to your local dealer and try both of them out. I went with the E3 because of the 10 year warranty. By the way all sebo vacuums (not parts/bags etc) are getting a price raise February 1st.
I never thought of it that way. I figured canister vacuums were more popular in Europe and the UK because carpet is not as prevalent in those countries unlike the U.S. Personally, I dislike carpet. I feel it is a dirty way to live. So why do so many rentals, for example, have carpet? I think because it so cheap compared to good quality vinyl, tile, stone, and wood floors. Unfortunately, I am currently in a rental that has carpet in the bedrooms. I hate it. I would opt for a mediocre vinyl over carpet any day. @@PerformanceReviews
I have the Sebo E3. I have only 1100 sq ft and it's a pain with the furniture getting in it's the way 🙂. I would not recommend it for small living quarters. The vacuum itself is fine.
My apartment is about 1300 square feet. 80-90% medium high pile carpet. The rest is laminate/hardwood floor. I have two huskys that shed like crazy and eat like pigs and drag their food across all the floors. Do you mine if I ask which vacuum you recommend. Ideally I’d rather spend closer to $500 but I will spend $1000 if I have to. Any brand but I think Sebo may be better since their replacement parts and repairs are supposed to be cheaper.
We like to say that you're going to spend the money eventually. Whether you spend a little now and spend a little more later and a little more later, OR you spend on Sebo and you're taken care of for a decade. Happy to share thoughts and input on this if you're still looking.
So do you recommend a SEBO X4 Automatic Boost or a SEBO Felix for a ranch home, , medium sized ,mostly carpet with a couple pit bulls as permanent residents? Prices seem comparable Thanks for the video!
I often see people say the Sebo is durable but they're generally referring to the commercial G-series. Are the Felix and D4 also equally durable? The all plastic build makes me think they'll crack somewhere eventually.
This is a very fair question, S L. The Felix is INCREDIBLY durable, as the power head detaches and you can throw an attachment on the end of the hose and use it as a canister. The D4 has a foam bumper that circles around the canister to keep it from being damaged by wall corners OR from damaging any walls. Happy to answer any other questions you may have.
We've certainly had some problems with all of the plastic on our Miele S7210 upright. But the thing has lasted 14 years so far. Just has a bit of duct tape to hold the bag door closed because the plastic latch broke some years ago.
Trying to decide which Sebo canister I should get. I have about 1964 sq ft house. All hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. I have a long haired Aussie. Would like to get one that can switch in case I ever move? Any suggestions?
Why are canister vacuums more expensive that uprights? I see this with the SEBOs. Purely curious. Does that mean they are better vacuums (the canisters)?
That's answered in this video. There's more to manufacture with a canister. Typically canisters don't cut corners like uprights. th-cam.com/video/D-NW-p_Y5F4/w-d-xo.html
@@PerformanceReviews thank you. I want to tell you I watched so many of your videos and I really wanted a Miele Kona BUT I could afford (kinda) a sebo Felix so that's what I got. @@nickliovich Happy for you and excited for you to experience the Felix! It's our most dynamic machine we offer. Please let us know if there's anything you need.
Are any of the canisters lighter than the Miele C2 Compact? I bought the Miele and hated it, was so bulky to carry up and down stairs. Also I hated the power button on the Miele, so hard to turn on and off. Wondering if Sebo has anything smaller/lighter.
You could go try the SEBO E3 it's about the same size but the hose is a little easier to move which might make a difference there's also no electric pigtail on it. You could also call Central Vacuum installer and just ditch the whole canister all together
Are there any bagged vacuums that combine hepa and activated charcoal filters? I’ve been searching to find an answer to this and so far no luck. Thanks in advance!
Can all the canisters be stored upright or just the most expensive kind? I have a small hom but I want to store it in a small space. I also want the most suciton possible to get 20 years of grime out of the carpet.
@@PerformanceReviews Thank you for a quick reply. Sorry, I was not clear. I meant to ask specifically for the numerical differences in working airflos between SEBO uprights (preferably the X4) vs. the E3 and/or D4 canisters.
Hey @Performance Reviews. I’m considering an E3 premium or a Dyson V15 (I know very different machines) as my only vacuum cleaner for a mixture of low and high pile carpet and hard floors. What would you recommend here for cleaning and filtration performance? Dyson advertises whole machine HEPA filtration to 0.1 microns for the V15 hence it’s a contender? Sebo appears to be S class to 0.3 only? What would your honest opinion be, given you’re one of the few TH-camrs who appear to know their stuff?
I think you'll find the v15 won't do high pile carpet easily if at all. The design of the V10/V11/V15 has quite a loose fit on its HEPA filter. This will cause it to leak after taking it off a few times. So be prepared to change those filters a couple times a year. Furthermore it being Bagless means you need to go outside and empty and wash it which negates filtering it out in the first place. You're also dealing with the machine that has less than half the performance of most vacuum cleaners. If you want to stick vacuum I would recommend the LG A9 over the Dyson v10/v11/v15. Again those are for quick pickups not designed to be your only machine. The SEBO filtration is some of the best in the business. That being said if you have bubble boy allergies you might look at something with an exhaust HEPA filter like the SEBO K3 has optional,Miele C3 or Lindhuas HF6.
For a 2300 square foot house with 2 people with long hair and 4 cats, what would you recommend? I'm torn between a G5, 350 Mechanical, and a D4 to recommend to them, but I honestly can't think of anything else I'd tell them about.
If you are 'based OUT of the US', you are not INSIDE the US, but some other country. I guess he means he is 'based IN the US.' (And why do Americans also say 'based OFF' something? If you are based ON something, you have a basis under you; if you are off-base...? You can't be 'based' and 'off' the base at the same time.)
I am ready to buy a Sebo, I have had a Filter Queen for years. I can not decide between the E3 and the D4 ??? 2000 square feet, mixed floors, 2 dogs & 4 cats. Help

Which do you prefer, Sebo or Miele?
A Central Vacuum is my preference.
Are you able to get a Felix head for a dart to have the swivel neck?
Yes, but that would cost you more than just buying a Felix in the first place.
Trying to decide which Sebo canister I should get. I have about 1964 sq ft house. All hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. I have a long haired Aussie. Would like to get one that can switch in case I ever move? Any suggestions?
Have you made a decision already, Stephanie? If not, I have a handful of suggestions for you! Let me know and happy vacuuming!
Why are canister vacuums more expensive that uprights? I see this with the SEBOs. Purely curious. Does that mean they are better vacuums (the canisters)?
That's answered in this video.
There's more to manufacture with a canister. Typically canisters don't cut corners like uprights.

@@PerformanceReviews thank you. I want to tell you I watched so many of your videos and I really wanted a Miele Kona BUT I could afford (kinda) a sebo Felix so that's what I got. Thank you for putting all that information out there. It is ideal to go into a store but not with three small kids in tow.🤣. This is our first 'nice' vacuum. Everything else broke within 2 years. Excited!
@@nickliovich Happy for you and excited for you to experience the Felix! It's our most dynamic machine we offer. Please let us know if there's anything you need.
Is the warranty the only difference with Onyx? I’d love to learn more from your perspective.
I think it's only the warranty and the color
Yes warranty and color
so other than the budget offering Sebo doesn't make an upright good for hard floors and carpet?
The SEBO Felix and the SEBO E3
Yes SEBO has a charcoal filter for the Felix
Any heavy duty sebo commercial able to deal with different type of rugs/carpets full of pet hair that industral beating dusters cant deal with ?
Yes any of their lineup should be able to deal with that.
Not sure what you mean by "industrial beating dusters"
Can all the canisters be stored upright or just the most expensive kind? I have a small hom but I want to store it in a small space. I also want the most suciton possible to get 20 years of grime out of the carpet.
All SEBO vacuums can
How does the working airflow (at the nozzle) compare between an upright like the X4 and an E3 (or D4)?

Brilliant thank you! After watching your videos, SEBO is it is!
@@PerformanceReviews An absolute EXPERT reply. Would expect nothing less. Grateful for all that you do!
How good is the filtration on the Sebo Felix?

My wife has very long hair that destroys even anti tangle vacuums. How do these handle long hair?
Anti-tangle is a marketing lie most of those machines tingle more than normal machines. Sebo's can handle just about anything you throw at them.
For a 2300 square foot house with 2 people with long hair and 4 cats, what would you recommend? I'm torn between a G5, 350 Mechanical, and a D4 to recommend to them, but I honestly can't think of anything else I'd tell them about.
If they don't have too many hardfloors then all of these are a fairly decent choice. If they do, they should go with the D4
Personally I'd recommend a E3 or a D4.
@@匿名的-1 no, really and truly only the bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen are bare floors.
I think the G4 is better for deep cleaning.
The other machines are more powerfu.l So I'm not sure what would make you think that?
@@PerformanceReviews The Essential G series uses a manual height adjustment, while the X series uses an automatic height adjustment.
‘Se o are a German vacuum manufacturer out of Germany’ yep. Right
And here I thought Dyson was expensive 😂
Wait till you decide to get to Central Vacuum 😁
@@PerformanceReviews there’s a brand even more expensive than Sebo?! Wow!
Based out of: as in base camp or home base. So yes my home base of operations is in the United States.
I am ready to buy a Sebo, I have had a Filter Queen for years.
I can not decide between the E3 and the D4 ???
2000 square feet, mixed floors, 2 dogs & 4 cats.
Help
Go to your local store and try them.
@@PerformanceReviews closest dealer is 60 miles away :(
@@DancingVashti that’s only an hour lol. You need to go to a local dealer for the 10 year warranty anyways. In 5, 10 years that 2 hour round trip will be meaningless
I prefer the manual switch on the e3 hose, but I want the d4 for dust capacity. Are the hoses interchangeable
No the hoses are not interchangeable the unique to the vacuum cleaner
@@PerformanceReviews Would you recommend the d4 over the e3? Besides bag capacity, where would the d4 be more advantagous?
Generally doing a bigger house and having that long 40 ft cord
