Season 4 felt like one big set up for Season 5. Which is Great for Season 5 because everything should be full throttle, but Season 4 suffers for it. It’s not “bad” but it’s lacking after seasons 2 and 3
I would definitely call it bad. There are so many plotholes and repeated story parts like Frenchies and Kimikos past. Even season 3 wasnt as good as season 1 and 2 but it had Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and he absolutely carried it
You guys should watch Gen V, the good quality that was missed in this season definitely went to Gen V, and it just gives you a better understanding of some characters/plot lines

Without seeing Gen V, all of the backstory of the Supe killing drug, the characters that took Frenchie away in the van(The guy that Komiko punched with no effect and the girl that whispered in Frenchie's ear) is lost on you. (Like Newman's husband. You meet him in Gen V). It's obvious that they will be characters in the last Boys season and you know nothing about them. It's like watching Avengers Infinity War/Endgame, but missing 3or 4 of the Marvel movies that went before it. Yes, you will still like the movie but you will miss the meaning of a lot of the dialogue. Remember... Weather they say it or not, the creators WANT you to watch BOTH series in order to get the FULL story. And you can be sure that the next chapter of this story will NOT be The Boys season 4... It will be GEN V season 2!

Wrong. Ryan was still trying to hold back on pushing Grace away but it still killed her. Compare that to when he shoved that Stunt guy, he was a smear against that building. Ryan didn't mean to kill her, let's not call him a killer until after we see how he reacts
The whole scene just felt incredibly contrived and like a plot point they wanted to occur rather than anything based on character development and who we know these people to be Plot informing character rather than the other way around
