- 1023 North Roxbury Drive, was the former home of film legend Spencer Tracy and also Agnes Moorehead, who was best known as the mother-in-law on ""Bewitched"".

I knew who's house this was before the woman gave it away. It 1st. belonged to actor Spencer Tracy, then Composer Sigmund Romberg owned it. Then famously marvelous Actress Agnes Moorehead owned it. Agnes used to say that, "Blossom Time came out of every corner. Kind of a little haunting, she would continue." 💜⚘️
I really hope these beautiful historic homes are protected. Every now and then comes a developer that breaks down these beautiful historic homes for a bland sqaure modern box.

new owners ruined it. Remodeled it and tried to make it look contemporary. It’s a Spanish style house. All the history is gone. Sad. 😢 no respect for Hollywood historic houses
I would have left it the way Agnes had it. She once said, she hated exposed wood, so she painted all of it white. I agree.. we seem to have the same taste in a lot of ways. We both 💜 the colour Lavender / Purple / Mauve. I would have left it that way for me, and out of respect for Agnes!! 🌹And I probably would have a life size picture of her on a wall in each room.

Funny people hate the home. For some living in a trailer home its considered a mansion. Large egos.

I would have left it the way Ms. Moorehead had it. We seem to have the same tastes basically. And out of respect for her memory. I know she would have hated all that exposed wood.. that's why she painted over it. The only difference is, I would have the same black/white tile flooring she had in her rumpus room, throughout the house.. I hate wood flooring. But 💜💜💜 you Ms.Moorehead ⚘️
