How would this paint hold up on a boat that is parked at a dock all summer and left outside for a Canadian winter? I would only put it on the sides of the boat that are mostly out of the water
Hi,i got a dory hull fishing boat with a double skin hull,is it a good idea to put sealed empty plastic water bottles between them save expanding foam?
Question...i took rustolem proffesional paint and thinned it to shoot through a electric paint sprayer from harbor freight and painted my trailer...worked awesome and doesnt chip at all cause its nice and thick...do you think that would give a better paint holding power over a rattle can for the boat? Also, i got a harbor freight spray gun and just tossed it when done cause it was cheap enough
Would you advise against painting the bottom of a boat with just spray paint, I understand it wouldn’t be anti fouling etc. just wondering if there is a reason you don’t see many small aluminum boats painted bellow the water line.?

Just wondering if the spray painted bottoms are frowned upon for any particular reason in general? Besides difficulty as most are being painted on trailers. Another great video as always!! I am going to be painting my boat this weekend and ordering your aluminum framing soon! If you said this in the video I missed it but how many coats of primer did you do? Also did you say you used crown camp fuel to clean/get ride of the contaminates? Or could I use a product like Jasco VM&P NAPHTHA that has nafta in it? Also, when will the video of you doing the bottom be out? Just trying to plan my paint job out and see when I can expect that so I don't screw mine up lol

Awesome paint job. Have you considered aluminum composite panels for deck same strength half the weight. Look up Dibond.
Had you thought of putting a clear coat on top of the black for extra scratch protection to the black...or is that overkill?
Looks great do u know of any type of adhesive or anything that would stick to polyethylene
