Hi Joseph, that is at a 10ft leader down to 8 lb flourocarbon Tippett. That net is excellent, yes it folds and telescopes also. I got that one at Micheal and Young on Broadway st. Very versatile, you can see in oher video's that I land Springs easily with it, it has a wide mouth.
Awesome vid Chris! Second fish was thick!!! Super chromers too, well done! Did you catch these during first light or last light? Also wondering how recent this trip was? I heard that First Nations has a weir set up lower river closer to the mouth of the fraser. Is it still worth it to make a trip out there or have you felt the fishing has been a bit slower?
@@bugpumper awesome thanks for the tip brother, will make a trip out there then if that's the case. Keep the vids coming Chris! Always good seeing content from you!
Nice video chris..double header ha ha im the guy wearing blue jacket on the top of the rock
oh cool! You were right above Geoff then!
Nice fish :). Looks like dawn or dusk based on the gopro lighting. I gotta get out there earlier!
yes you're right it will make a huge difference! plus a full sink line.
@@bugpumper I bought a 15' of T14 sink tip to try... I'll let you know how it goes!
@@RosinFlyFishing good luck out there, might see you in the morning one of these days!
@@bugpumper Hope so Chris! I need someone to catch so my videos are more interesting lol
@@RosinFlyFishing ha!
What flies are you using?
Sweet, I bet 2 of the 3 guys went and bought fly rods after!
What sinking line are you running?
Type 7 but I don't remember the brand. I got it at Pacific angler. Matt would set you up right!!
@@bugpumperI was only able to get my hands on type 5 full sink will I still get away with it
@andreabruno5495 yes, its so low and slow that type 5 will be fine.
Chris; do the tides affect the fishing upriver? high tide = more coho? or not...
yes they do. They usually rush in with the tide, but now have to deal with the weir at the native land.
@@bugpumper So will you be doing a video at the mouth soon; buzzbombing away :)
@@bsdgffishtuna5186 ha!! no buzzbombs for me! I take my zodiac out and flyfish from it.
I anchor among the jumpers and slay them!
@@bugpumper
Do you have to go far from the launch?
Maybe I should bring my rod along next time I'm out with the camera...
Awesome video and good catch !! What length of leader and tippet do you have?
Also is that foldable net? I was looking for something similar, where can I find one? Thanks

Hi Drac! that was at 7am ish. The weir is set up in the lower Cap but fish get past it at high tide and at night every day. Good luck!

Sam was not happy he was on your channel. Maybe you should ask people before you put them on. I spoke to him the other day.
