You are the best my friend! Thanks for the shout out. I am in the airport in Florida heading home as I am watching this. Lots of content to catch up on.
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron I have been looking some, especially at the ones that seem to be 1st cards/photos. If it's a year or so before the "rookie", I'm all in! If I can afford it anyway haha... Have a great New Year, Aaron!
Really enjoying the oversized stuff, Aaron. I recently snagged the Feller Dixie Lid Premium Feller from an estate sale - they’re amazing in person. I just shared it and other cool oversized prewar stuff on my channel - maybe worth a watch. Have a great Christmas!
Hey Aaron! Those ‘54 All Star Picture Packs are pretty sweet. I’ve been looking at the Yogi and it looks like I need to look for a Musial too. Those Dixie Lid Premiums are so awesome for a great price, my Ducky Medwick needs some friends. I’m still going to try and land a Butterfinger Dizzy, because I missed out on this last one.
It’s hard for me to believe that something that old and that large and made out of cardboard can be in such great condition today. I did a video, I think on the best hitting pitchers, where I highlighted Wes Ferrell. I’m sure he was a better player than his brother Rick. I think Wes has more home runs than any pitcher in MLB history. Merry Christmas, Aaron! All the best.
@Vintage_Dave_T thanks, Dave and Merry Christmas to you as well! I agree, it is amazing something so fragile can survive for decades in such respectable condition.
I was watching that Banks 😊 nice pickup. They are pretty scarce. The Banks is especially hard to pickup because people hang on to it....as he is one of the greats and it is technically a rookie issue. The orher "rookie" in that 54 all star pack is the Kaline. The Dixie Lid premiums are absolutely stunning. I believe that Foxx, Hubbell, and Feller are also in the set. Absolutely agree with the last point....lots of under the radar HOFers to pick up on the cheap....Max Carey, Dave Bancroft, Billy Herman, Joe Cronin, Ernie Lombardi, Luke Appling, Lazerri, Al Simmons, Bill Terry, Kiki Cuyler....some of these gents were fantastic players, not mid tier, but have just been sort of forgotten by time or live in the shadows of their greater contemporaries.....i.e., Simmons
@bagwell78 yes, sir. I saw the Kaline too. The autograph is either super cool or defacing it. I couldn't tell well enough if it was authentic. I was definitely glad to grab Ernie!
Love the Banks, Dean and Foxx. You are fulfilling your role as the pusher! Great content as always, Aaron. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.
@RustyVintageCards and a very Merry Christmas to you, my friend!
