- In this video I'm sharing how I drew this sketch on location in Chelsea, London. A short and sweet tutorial in how I use watercolour washes and pen line to draw buildings and architecture.
Here is a list of the materials I used:
Stillman and Birn Beta Sketchbook
Watercolours
Brush Pen
Fineliners
Black Brush Pen
White Gel Pen
Rust Paint Pen
Love it. Very concise and very helpful
Waww amazing art
Lovely of you to say, thank you 😊
Absolutely stunning! I love all the inked details. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! ☺
Thank you so much!
Very helpful to see your step- by-step process. Interesting you put the black lines on top of the color, rather than first step!
Yes, I'm always after the most economical way to describe a view.
Nice ❤
Love it ❤
Thank you, Janey!
Thank you this really helps and it's a wonderful sketch!
You're very welcome!
I came from seeing this image on IG! It’s wonderful! I would have loved to see you make this one
Thank you for the lovely comment! I hope to be making more videos where I film the whole process soon 😊
@@LisWatkins can’t wait!!
fabulous! it would be wonderful to watch you sketch in real time🤩
Thank you, Irene 🙂 I hope to film a 'work in progress' video soon.
This is truly beautiful. Lovely!
I'm curious how much does it take to you to finish it from start to finish?
I think this drawing took about one hour and a half 🙂
@@LisWatkins thank you for the answer! Very impressive 💯
what brand of watercolors do you use??
They are mostly from Winsor and Newton, with a few from Danial Smith and one from Deep Deep Light. I am compiling a list of new videos to make and one about the materials I use will be on it 🙂
Tip. Talk slower, a bit louder. Everything else is fine 🙂
Thank you for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind in future.
@@LisWatkinsTip. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s fine as it is.👍🏻
