The technology uses a dictionary to predict and suggest words based on the sequence of keypresses, and it can learn from the user’s typing habits to offer more accurate predictions over time.
For example, you can look for someone named Hello as 43556. Because H is in number 4, E is in 3, L is in 5 and 0 is in 6. It also returns any other matches like Gello. Hope this helps.

iPhone's focus was never GUI customization. It was always focused on pure technology and how it can serve the customers. First 2000 nits Dolby Vision OLED display on a smartphone. First Dolby Vision video camera ever made. Satellite connectivity, portrait mode for still photography, Apple Pay, highest security measures for a modern smartphone, fastest CPU on a smartphone, fastest GPU power on a smartphone, and most reliable operating system on a smartphone. Androids are knock offs of iPhone but they have more Home Screen customization as a means of compensation for lack of smarts in other areas lmao. So the reason why you never had a desire to switch to a more advanced smartphone is simply because you never wanted one. Typical android user.

It'll be interesting to see how Apple consumers react to the feature fraud across devices, for years android has been criticized for similar tendencies. For experienced software users, this hasn't moved the needle, one neat feature that'll be matched in weeks, and for the average consumer Apple devices are trending too expensive. For the loyal Apple customer with expectation, it has to seem like they're still moving too slow, ios 18 was a needed step but if the 16 doesn't bring the software essentials missing, the narrative will be how much longer would we have to wait for decades old functionality. Ios 18 may have paused the disappointment with software, but for how long, there's tons missing that apple just don't have the ability to produce and to me their product is starting to look like an android clone no matter how they try to dress it up. With the most powerful chips, you're devices even same year can't perform a function the competitors 4 year old devices can. Eye opening. I said this would happen watch it closely. Their exposing themselves, let's see if the people continue to support their behavior or demand change.
