I’m about to be 26 and have been here for at least 2 years! I’ve become much more open-minded and worldly because of this channel.
I really like dressing up for work. I love the office professional look. I feel sad that companies these days stop requiring it, so my officemates always show up wearing slides and hoodies. I feel so left out. People nowadays love the lazy look and I'm not here for it.
Same here, I love dressing up for work, business meetings, social gatherings or big events, the only problem is that ever since 2020 COVID calendar year I've been doing remote activities more than ever. Sucks because I got so much I really am looking forward to wearing that's sitting with the tag still on it. And I'm not wearing new fancy things to grocery shop, or run fast paced errands; I like to dress down for errand running but I love to dress up for important work or social events and gatherings. We'll see summer is almost and I already got 10+ 100% cotton dresses sitting waiting to be picked. I like to be ready in advance so yeah I know when the time is right each dress will get worn to the right place.

Ankle boots cutting off the legs work very well for those of us with long thin legs, so we don't look like chicken legs. For the ladies with heavier legs, yes ankle boots would make the legs look less elongated and would not work. So I am keeping my ankle boots to make my long thin legs look more proportionated.
As someone who only wears minimalist/barefoot shoes, it's tough finding elegant shoes that don't make my feet look like a hobbit's or childish. I mostly stick to wide toe loafers, ballet flats, and white sneakers. I purchased the lace-up Empire boots by Peerko and I love them. Since they're barefoot boots, they don't have any heel drop.

I especially love the "Gillet" look. Katherine Hepburn dressed like this long ago and it still looks scrumptious.
my go to, rather elegant look is usually black jeans paired with a blazer and either a shirt or a nice top (maybe t-shirt). it indeed elevates any look this is one of my favorite clothing hacks
Not lilysilk again 😞last time I ordered I had to return everything. The quality is so so bad. Weird cut and fit. Super thin silk. Don’t recommend 😢
I read really bad reviews about Lily Silk. Apparently, it's a nightmare for shipping and returns. I wasn't aware until recently that they were made in China.
And I don't agree that their prices are reasonable. I guess that's relative, though.

I had the same problem. They don’t tell you, but only your first return is free, and after that you have to pay. And I was actually very surprised with the quality of all their sweaters it turned into little balls all over. For what they charged I was actually surprised at the quality.

Hello Anna! I saw that many of your followers want a video on how to style elegantly while going to high school/university. I also think this would be really helpful! Because the thing is, that when we „unlayer” our outfit at school (put on our school slippers, put jacket down) the outfit ends up looking horrible or not interesting. I would appreciate video like this, and I think that some tips on what school slippers to buy to actually look elegant would fit! Thank You Anna so much!😄

Thanks to Anna I dont have to rush into stores, I have bought them before, but I am not copycat. Maybe trench coat looks similar. Knitted tress is the best, feminen but warm.
Okay, so, usually I'm very in sync when it comes to style with Anna, but when I saw the chain printed cardigan, my first thought was "I hate it". Maybe it's because the print is too sparce to fit into the flamboyant category, but the print is also too squiggly and all over the place to be simply elegant. Something about it just doesn't work for me. Maybe if you paired it with a solid color top and a metallic gold belt with the right pants and some accessories, it'll work kinda, but something about the piece itself just looks silly. I don't know why I care so much, but I do not like the chain printed cardigan. I do not like them Sam-I-Am🙅♀️

I love the beautiful drape of these silk items! I would wear these all the time except I live in the US Southwest and it’s either insanely hot (105 degrees today in August) or freezing cold in winter. Silk friendly weather only lasts about 4 weeks per year😢.

I am tall and thin so gilets look good on me. Also like them for a bit of warmth that isn't as restrictive as a cardigan or blazer with sleeves.

I have a black gilet that comes to just above my knees. It's been worn a couple times as part of a monochromatic outfit which works well but I've struggled to make it look decent otherwise.

In my youth I did not own jeans or tenni shoes! I did not have an office job but I dressed in suits all the time. I met my husband and I bought my first set of each. I am looking to go back to my style now that I will not continue to have children and have more time for myself. I love the style Anna Bey wears because that was my style. Now that I have resources to obtain better quality clothing, I am looking forward to getting my style back. Thank you Anna!

I really appreciate this video - I have kept all my favorite tailored blazers from when I worked full time in finance and am always looking for tips on how to continue to wear them. In terms of vests, (you call them gilets), do you have suggestions on styling them for those of us with narrow shoulders? I haven’t been able to make the long ones work. Thank you.
I'll throw a few things at you:
-Horizontal lines going across the shoulders, could be a colour-blocked yoke or wear the vest over an off-shoulder top.
-Cap sleeves on the vest
-Take it to a tailor. It's surprising what you can get away with when a garment fits correctly.
