I’m from Kentucky and I never see Boulder walls only 100 year old dray stack natural stone walls. I’m going to start doing more to bring that Awesome look down here!
Love the wall, does the engineering call for geo textile? Why use it? I’ve used geo grid a lot instead. Does the drain tile do anything in your experience? You do good work, fun to watch.
So what is the engineer's reasoning for putting drain pipe in crushed stone behind a dry laid wall ??? There will never be a drop coming out the pipe, any water will simply drain through the wall.
the vid doesn't really scale it, you'll have to stand in front of it with a wide shot. i saw it after the rain and it was impressive. seen your trucks in the pit and your billboard too, must have a lot going on. keep up the good work.
@@GarrettWilliams2017 that grapple is sick! Holy crap its versatile. Super impressed with that and the excavator. Super boss combo. Money printing press 👍
Thanks for showing this. It'd be cool if you showed it finished.

Thank you!
Large?
Awesome video and even better machine and skills
Keep it up! 🫵🏻
That wall looks really good man! Your 145 is an awesome machine!
tell us about the grabber / how you like it
That looks great.
Thank you!
Amazing looking wall did you set the first row of rocks on virgin ground? Or did you set it on top of the crushed ? And was your fabric waterproof
Great job man would love to come run the 145 love the limo tint😉
Looking good.
Great job! What brand is the stone attachment? Is there an option for a Bobcat E35Z?
It’s a @CMP hydra grapple yes they do make them for that size. You can reach out to them via their website and tell them I sent ya
Wow! Now that’s a real stone wall. Nothing manufactured about that!
I'd love to see an entire job in a 15 second time lapse
Where is your embedment?
What’s with the dark tint ? Is it hard to see thru?
No it’s not
Great vid!

How did you attach that flag on the excavator?
I used a little technique I learned in Boy Scouts called “zip ties”
hey bud, love your work.. so how much would a 140ft wall like you built here that goes from 9ft down to 3ft what would you charge someone to build it?
Hey! Thanks for that! Would be about $30 per sq ft
Seems like you are above final grade on the base course. If so, what is the reasoning ? Thanks.
Everybody always tries to get the most surface space out of boulders. Sad watching so many walls go up wrong.
that's the same brand grapple you guys have on the mini right?
Correct!
Great work. Which grapple is being used? Can’t find any info in you other videos. Thanks for sharing all the great content.

Good idea! I will do another video when we get the other walls here done. Thanks for the support!(-:

What do you charge for a wall like this?
$30-$40 per sq ft
Love the walls. I own a plumbing co but find myself daydreaming about building walls fulltime. So far i've built... zero, lol
Nice! Gotta start somewhere
Whats the swivel attachment called. That’s bad ass
It’s a hydro-grapple built by CMP attachments
🤠👍
