What you're hearing is the monitors in the room, the volume on his amps are at about half and he's running them at 100 watts. That is very very loud. His cabinets are in another room miked. That being said lonestar amps sound really really good at low volumes but even better cranked.
@DexterKnows No, the cabinet is just probably mic'd in a different room. The amp volume is probably quite high, and the mic signal is just coming through monitors at a lower volume in the room he's in.
@ DexterKnows Andy is running his amps with a fairly clean tone and stacking pedals for most of of his gain. When I saw him do a Resolution clinic his amps were louder with a little more gain. Hope that helps!
