Excellent mate, thanks for the explanation. The Dolby renderer manual doesn’t do a good job at explaining almost anything, they just asume we have been working in surround for years.

Hi .if you get some time explain about your setup with routing and analog equipment's how you use them do you also use external hardware as plugin which world clock you use for latency free mix and many other like me would love to hear from you 😊 and also what do you do to balanced mix and to keep the original tone of the instruments because 90% people across the 🌎 listen on streo mix . Hope I was able to explain.😊

Hey Kunal! I don't use any analog gear in mixing, and I don't even record anymore. I'm 100% in the box and use only plugins. :) I like simplicity, and also because I travel a lot, I want to be able to open my mixes and work on them, even when I'm in a hotel room. So, my setups are very simple: one interface, speaker and headphones. That's all I need.
Monitoring is the most important step to getting a balanced and clear mix. There are no tricks really. If you work on headphones something like Sonarworks SoundID would be crucial (and having a quality pair of headphones like Sennheiser HD650, Neumann NDH 30, Audeze LCD-X). Whenever I need to mix on headphones, I always use Sonarworks. Sometimes I can check my mix with room emulations like Waves NX or Acustica Audio Sienna, but just for a quick check. Flat frequency response for headphones is more important than crosstalk or room emulation.
You cannot mix what you cannot hear, so if you struggle with getting a good balance and clear mixes, the problem is most likely with your monitoring setup. Hope this helps))

@@kunalgoswamiji mixing in headphones is a really common thing. You just have to get used to it. But just watch out for hearing damage. It's much easier to damage your hearing on headphones, compared to speakers.

@@kunalgoswamiji oh, I thought you meant that you started using Sonarworks for headphones. :) Anyway, Sonarworks is great both for monitors and headphones. ;)
