Hey mate! At the time of making the video I had an ID44 audio interface. On that unit you could expand the IO (Inputs and outputs) with ADAT expansions. That gave me 16 more outputs to have a full atmos setup and send audio out of those inputs. I purchased a new interface this year which was the audient Oria. That has enough outputs built into it and made for atmos systems. Your audio interface with 2 outputs can work if you mix in binaural or stereo for atmos, but if you want all the speakers you will either need to buy a new audio interface or see if your audio interface can be expanded with ADAT (Which I assume your interface cant, its not common for smaller interfaces)
So knowledgeable content, thanks for this Sir ❤ Could you please make a video on how to mix a short film (music, dialogues, sfx , amb) in surround /5.1 in Cubase/Nuendo? 🎉
Excellent video. Any Particular trick to exporting the ATMOS mix? I saw another video where they said the integrated loudness has to be at -18. I also find it weird that you can't really check your ATMOS mix without an ATMOS room. Is that right? I'm practicing with stems from a trailer music album I want to release.
Hey. there are good exporting guidelines from universal which I usually follow. contentguide.universalmusic.com/dolby-atmos-audio-servicing-asset-specifications/ . find that here. Im not sure what you mean "you cant really check your atmos mix without an atmos room. You can check your mixes a few different ways. You can import an ADM into nuendo, Pro tools, logic or dolby atmos composer from feilder but not Cubase sadly. if you don't have a proper room with 7.1.4, 5.1, 5.1.2 etc you can still listen to your mix in stereo or binaural.
@@RyanPetersMusician8 months ago someone asked what was the difference between the two Nuendo and Cubase. This was removed as to why you are asking this question 8 months later. Hope this helps 😊
Finally someone talks about Groups, effekt tracks and advance routing options etc. Thanks for the video! 👍
Helped me a lot
Thanks for this 🎉🎉
bro where to put mastering plugin in atmos mastering at the end.....i m confused it was previously on stereo out but now it's routed to atmos renderer
Could you make a video on how to mix a short film Christmas stereo home video in surround /5.1 in Cubase/Nuendo? with ATMOS height channels.
How do you send audio to all your speakers. Most interfaces have 2 outputs? What did you do. Thanks for the vid.

@@RyanPetersMusician Thanks, great info. I'll look into it. I've dropped you an email regarding this. Cheers
Hi Ryan. What sound card do you recommend to get the best result from Dolby Atmos? (With how many input/output Channel?)
