I never played rivals 1 but i did play rivals 2 on real hardware but i didn't play because its a sonic game, i just played & enjoyed, though for some reason if i don't use my psp for VERY long time, my battery goes to 0 & it rests entirely, but thats ok to me because if its been a very long it can feel quite new again so i don't care if that happens
