I think their slogan should be, "Anything you want, from anywhere in the US, for $100!" They're a bit pricey but when your options are limited, it was a good way to get a smoked turkey.
Been thinking of ordering some. I’m from Houston, and we have a place called Papa Genos that’s pretty good. Was wondering what these would arrive looking like. If it came spoiled and thawed or if it was well packed. Your video was a help, might give it a try.
i am desperately in need of a Valencia cake from the bakery in NY. i was raised in NY and from the few good memories I've had, this is one of our favorites. I live in North Carolina. Visit NY 7 years ago and ,of course, had to buy a cake and brought it back for my sisters ,we were so close to tears. My son in North Dakota has bought from you and that is how i found out. Please, can i order one of these cakes????
Wanted to try these so bad but the heat and serve in 24 hours is a deal-breaker. I was hoping you could just pop them in the freezer and pull one out as needed. Went with Zuppardi's Apizza instead.
I looked at the prices of this site and they are absolutely ridiculous. The pie on the ad caught my eye so I checked it out. $100 for a pie. That's insane. I really don't get how this company is still in business. Especially now with covid and people struggling financially.
You get stuff from them weekly? Holy crap! I'm finally going to order something from them man sucks they gave you way to little cheese you should of gotten tripple that amount forget that lol
Saute/fry up some onions, pile on American cheese if you like or instead of whiz and a little sauce/ketchup and your dryness issue will likely go away and the taste will improve too.
A philly cheesesteak has steak onions peppers and real cheese usually provolone all in italian bread. It isn't some meat, a stale hot dog roll and cheese whiz which is fake cheese and lots of xantham gum goo and chemicals.
I'm not surprised something like this service exists. But to spend money when you aren't getting the whole experience, idk. Microwave or oven, tossing the meat in the pan? You're getting like 10% of the whole experience. People will spend their money how they please I suppose
I agree. I have had some great foods shipped to me before. Its just not the same. I have been waiting patiently for years to try Pat's and Franklin bbq but I won't have them shipped because of past disappointments from shipped food. I can't wait to visit philly some day just for the cheesesteak and then peace out.
Agreed, but it’s still way cheaper than actually taking a trip to these places. To somewhat get the experience, I’d say it’s worth it if you have a little extra cash to spend
Maybe would it be bettter if you microwave it ? Strange, but wouldn't that keep the bread & beef a bit more moist than baking it ? I just got my 6 & 6 free.
I was wondering the same thing I don’t like Bread after it’s been in the oven ... gets too crispy ... might try to skillet the meat and microwave the roll
@@BlockingThePlate I microwaved it last night & I liked it better. I'm not a fan of crunchy, toasted bread, so this worked out better for me. The bread was hot & fluffier. I microwaved it @ 50% & moved the meat around a bit. Turned out pretty good.
I got a $250 gift card for gold belly from my work. After looking over the website I couldn’t stop laughing at the stupidity Hahahhaha anyways I got $250 worth of steak ( 4 total) that I’m sure taste just as good as the steak I can buy right next door for 1/10 the price. lol not my money
I'm just gonna bust your chops 😅 I came for the review of how it's shipped but ha I'm never ordering from pats with gold belly prices. Not worth the wait or money🤦🏽 I'm from Philly so it's a joke btw
Yeah, Goldbelly isn't cheap, but I look at it as paying for an experience. If you grab a steak you're looking $7-12 at most spots. Throw a Coke in there @ $2-3/each and you're roughly $50. But if you live in a town with no cheesesteaks, is the extra $50 a dealkiller? I've had a chance to experience other flavors w/Goldbelly that break up the monotony of what's available here. They're providing a service I don't mind paying for.
So do you want to pay 109.00 for 8 subs you can make yourself with some ribeyes and cheese wiz? I’m gonna pass thank you sir. I am just gonna say some onions and mushrooms will make that so much better, you should not have to try to make your food look good, I feel like you might be sponsored by GoldBelly, and No I dont think its about Pats or any other Phillie steak and cheese place.
I wish my channel was sponsored by Goldbelly! I'd still give honest reviews, but it would be nice to save the $$. Haha. If you watch my other videos you'll see I'm honest, and at times critical, of some of the deliveries. Thanks for watching!

You're not wrong. Haha.
Gotta fluff the beef curtains
SIR
I would wrap the meat in foil to retain and heat.

I busted out laughing so hard at about the halfway point 😆😆😆

How as Zuppardis?
That's true. They are good. A little dry, but better than any cheesesteak your are going to get elsewhere. Although, I do like Sobik's subs.
Ordered Joes, Jims and Johns Roast Pork over the past few months. Gotta say Johns Cheesesteaks are the best so far.....
How was Jim's?
Definately needs more cheese. 1 container for every 2 sandwiches.
Got my order from Goldbelly 2 days ago. Oven or microwave are both acceptable ways to heat. Both ways taste great.
Does the meat come chopped or whole?
It's all chopped up and prestuffed in the rolls.
It looks worth 7 dollars max lol how much did it cost

@@BlockingThePlate I get your point. There are cheaper ways to go if you want food delivered during covid but I see your point.
How many Philly cheese steak subs can you get from Subway for $100?
I wouldn't care if it was a million of 'em. I'm not getting a cheesesteak from Subway, dude.
@@BlockingThePlate I can honestly say I've never had anything from Subway that I just had to have again.

I got them weekly for a while, now it's just when I feel like something different. I haven't won the lottery yet. Haha.

Sould have reheated it in the air fryer

I would say peppers and provolone are not "usual" in a Philly cheesesteak. Acceptable yes but not usual.

Should’ve left it wrapped and let chef mic handle it. Would’ve kept everything moist

fanman71 good to know !! Now I can go justify the purchase
better microwaved, imo
Just got mine. Maybe blast in the microwave for 45 secs and then finish in the oven for a few mins?
I reheated meat on stove top them bread in oven
The meat should have been in a container separate from the bread I believe to be heated separately. Changed my mind from buying theirs
I just had a Cheese and Steak Sub and it was loaded with meat that it overflowed. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Looked dry id do steakems for the price.

Pepper cheese with
Given how many reviews and videos of packages totally thawed and hot. I call bs on the ice pack being frozen. You’re probably affiliated in some way.
Wish I was, I'd get a price break! All of my reviews are unbiased and unfiltered. :)
Thanks but no thanks.

Wayyy too much for something that has to be served in 24 hours and very bare ummmm noooooo
