I'm making a pleated tennis skirt as my first sewing project and a zipper was going to be installed into one side of the skirt. I have been trying so hard to understand the written instructions which came with the pattern for my dress, which also has a side seam pocket in front of a side zipper on the left side, as well as a pocket in the seam on the right side. As much as I LOVE pockets (I really love pockets, because I don't carry a purse), I had almost come to the conclusion that I was going to have to just put in the side seam zipper and have just theone pocket in the dress. Your method is different, but I can understand it and follow your directions! Thank you!

Can you do another video with contrasting fabric and zipper, placing zipper on the right hand side? Good tutorial!!! I think I have it, but it would be a better visual if zipper and fabric were different colors, one light, one dark. Thanks!!!!

Good tutorial but I can't tell which side is the back or front side of the fabric because of the dark color.
