What should we use to find the terrain memory? I tried terrain, but nothing popped up, but memory did come with some options, but don't know which one I should adjust..
Followed this to the tee and went from under 100fps in WZ3 using NVidia DLSS (with almost everything set to low) to ~120 fps while using Fidelity, which looks so much better. Thank you. However, the icing on the cake for me was actually turning OFF hardware accelerated GPU. Instantly started getting 140-160 in WZ and ~200 in multiplayer.
For the competitive players, DLSS introduce input lag. If your game is fine with it on OFF or FCAS leave it there. DLSS again WILL introduce input lag but will get you more fps
i get way less input delay with dlss on, wdym by more input delay more fps? its feels way smoother, i get 80fps on rtx high/medium settings, but with dlss quality i get 100 ish, its only 20-30 ish frames more but dlss also makes the cpu work less hard (less utilization) because the game is rendering at a lower resoultion then upscaling it to your set resolution, whats your gpu? i have a rtx 3060ti dell oem model, if you can run dlss you should 100% feel the extra smoothness, i feel like i need dlss or fsr in competitive games like fortnite/warzone/cs2 and others, eapecially when you have nvidia reflex on or with + boost, it just makes my aim so much smoother and more satisfying and fun to game
if anyone does not know their cpu here is a tutorial: Right-click on your taskbar. ... Then select Task Manager. ... In the Task Manager window, go to the Performance tab. ... Click on the CPU section on the left panel. ... You will see the type of CPU you have next to the word “CPU” in the top-right corner of the window.
you definitely deserve a like at least...I love how you explained each setting so the people actually understand what are they doing and why. Then they can adjust the settings a little bit by their own preference and build it to perfection. Most of the creators just show their settings and be like "yeah I have it like this" and most people copy it and dont even know why...You actually put in time and work to test what changes the FPS the most, etc...Really good video
Since this last update, I’ve been dealing with that dreaded stutter that we had in WZ 2.0. No Shader Cache setting here so do you have an idea how to get rid of this stutter? I’ve tried multiple things. Restarting shaders, changing video memory scale, etc. I can’t find anything that seems to work.
I know there’s a slew of things to try, and after trying just about everything I found online something I did finally worked. Open up command prompt as administrator run the following command: sfc /scannow After that is complete, restart your windows explorer. If you don’t know how to do that then Google it. It’s easy. Doing those 2 things seem to help me.
Focused mode isn't as you described, it's VERY handy for multimonitor setup....it dims the second monitor while gaming....0 is no dimming, 100 is black screen. I set mine to 70 and my second monitor is essentially running at 30% brightness, which quite literally allows me to FOCUS on the game better, it's not just a clever name. I typically play in a darkly lit room and it's been a fantastic setting to use.
Yo nice vid my game looked class but was having some lag issues that could be to do with a number of things and my specs are good so probably not something obvious so copied your settings although there are a couple new settings since your vid. Just wanted to ask about the upscaling / sharpening you say fidelity is the best for really good performing pcs but then say use NVIDIA DLSS if you have Nvidia, what if the games performing well and I have a Nvidia, which is better? Thanks 🙏
I’ll try matching the amount of cores but in years past that was always the cause of hitching. Multiple reliable ppl have said that core count minus one is the way to go with the render worker count.

Hi, could you explain which is the rule of Renderworkercount, because in the previous video you said that we have to put the Value Number related to Number of Performance Cores Minus 1 so Value "7" for 8 Cores. Is this rule right ? Because in Intel Processors some say that Core 0 need to be free and not have to reach 100% to prevent iussue like packet burst or loss ... Could you clarify this setting "Renderworkercount"?

Long time subscriber here! I use your settings always and thanks. I stumbled on something recently. My display resolution has always been 2560x1440. I was running a benchmark test with my squad mate and he’s running 1920x1080 and getting better GPS. I compared and got 116 boosted from 83 by doing the same. So; will the picture suffer in order to gain FPS? How much?
Love your stuff bro, tried everybody’s settings over the years but yours are the best 👍 My only issue is when I lower vram to 60 I loose fps and it stutters, at 80 mine runs perfect, better fps and no stuttering. But thanks for the work you do 😎
@@dea8595 There are no changes to settings that would gain you that FPS back, everything here is the best for performance regardless. It's a problem on COD's end and has been happening for years now. I think I started MW2 at 250FPS and by Season 6 I dropped down to 175.
There are a few peices of advice here that aren't the most informed: 1.) There isn't really a difference between full screen exclusive and full screen borderless in modern DX12 games as far as how it effects performance. If you're running with a multi-monitor setup you definitely want full screen borderless. 2.) Many people on PC these days have a variable refreshrate monitor, and in that case you should set FPS to unlimited with vsync on, not off, because if it's off the gpu will render whatever frames it can manage, and if the FPS exceeds your monitor's refreshrate you will experience jittery inputs along with screen tearing. There is no downside to having vsync on with a variable refreshrate display, so people should know this. All vsync does is it forces the GPU to only send frames to the monitor that sync with each scan line refreshing the monitors display, so that obviously can lead to latency if you don't have a variable refreshrate display when the framerate drops to some number not divisible by the monitors refreshrate, but if you can run the game above 60 you should just turn on vsync, and it will lock the framerate to 60.
