Hi mate. Before update I setup 8 , after update recommend 16 because if is 8 I see different input lag on my controller. I have the same build.

Not only does frane generation introduce a ton of latency, it also introduces stutter and also just looks jittery.
a 300fps cap without frame generation looks smoother than 300+fps with frame generation
does removing the blood effects in the .ini files remove dismemberment effects? because i haven't had those effects since i did this.

AMF FSR 3.0 Frame Generation is amazing as of Feb 2nd 2024 on the latest AMD Drivers
For those on AMD cards, just make sure you have Anti-Lag turned on inside the Adrenalin Software, but Enable the frame gen in the game.
Whatever FPS your game is capped at in game, Frame gen will almost double that; but because we have Anti-lag turned on from before, that hit in latency from AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Gen is minimal.

did you record the video before the reload season came out? FSR3 is not in the settings, how can you talk about the settings if you don't know how they behave in the new season?

Have to comment here. My rig rocks a 5700G and a RX6700XT w/16 vb RAM. without this settings I was having 90/110 FPS and after this I’m achieving 140+ even 160. THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I usually have between 100-140fps and I did everything you said in the video. It went to 280-300fps. As I stream the game as well I wanted to get some quality back so I increased some settings and Im still getting 200-220fps and the quality is great. THE BEST VIDEO ON TH-cam ! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You'd think a video like this would be for those with a below average pc. Seems like this is geared for people who already get high frames to go even higher.

Not sure if it's just my CPU (I7 9700k), but when I set my render worker count to exactly half of my cores (4), I get nearly 30 more fps.
Since i try setting up all this, my game always reset all my settings to default when i restart... any help?
This is old video? AMD FSR 2.1 has been replaced in this update by 3.0 version. Would like to know if this is any better, worse, same as 2.1? Probably should actually play the game before chucking a video out
Ive always used your videos for Battlenet Call of Duty, but I have a question about Steam Call of Duty. No matter what I do I always have blocky pixelated video in game. The ONLY way I have figured out how to fix it at the beginning of each match is to switch it Extreme graphics & back to Ultra. But when & if I go into Gulag, I have to do the same thing again & then again when I come out of Gulag.

I cant do it 😅 I prefer cranking the settings up, and using AMD Adrenalin to lock the FPS with chill and get sub 4ms latency, I like the immersion and look.
If you want to be competitive and max the FPS out with these settings for sure.
you have "focused mode" mixed up. It's a great setting if you have multiple monitors. It's a dimming switch for the brightness of the second monitor. A setting of zero leaves the second monitor at full brightness, a setting of 100 makes the second monitor completely black. I set mine at 70, which brings my second monitor to 30% brightness which allows me to "FOCUS" on the game better. It's a really good setting to use if you have 2 monitors and play in a dimly lit room.
so if i have only 1 monitor basically it will do nothing ?
@@iamdaviddrew my understanding is that if you had single monitor, and the game playing in a window (not full screen) everything outside of the game window would be dimmed

My PC ryzen 5 3500 gpu rtx 2060 super, ill try tutorial on yt but still very lag and the build is crush when i play
Was sitting around 65-110 fps @90fov
Did the mentioned changes
BUT used amd fsr3.0 and frame generation
And getting 175-200+ fps @ 120fov
Also seems my packet loss and extrapolation issues may be reduced or gone but ill need to play a couple dozen games to see
Should also mention I'm on a ryzen 5600x with a Rx 580 8gb and 64 GB ram fully overclocked.

I was sitting 110 avg at fps. I notices turning only FSR boosted my fps by 10/20 though hell broke loose when I enabled AMD Frame Generation now I am getting 250+ constant. I did not that Frame generation option does cause some images to look a bit off though I feel getting 100 fps boost is the best deal I can get.
@@karma5319same here. 90-120 but typically in the 110 range. turned it on and it got to over 300 frames and my game crashed. i have my fps capped at 165 too and it went that high. but my game was crashing on fidelity cas (which is what i normally run) as well so i think it’s just the game and the update.
@@karma5319 only real big difference i have seen in the 3 hours gaming since my original comment is grass looks absolutely horrible and trees from afar are jagged asides from that anything nearby looks fine player models look fine no weird ghosting or screen tearing.

Love the settings but when you do the whole changing stuff in note pad it crashes the game every so often

It takes a long time, but no longer than 10 minutes
Are it so for the render worker count for cores? There's a debate with an AMD CPU for you to use half your cores. Have you heard about that? Community?

Crazy to me that you mentioned Path Tracing again, but AGAIN failed to mention that it only affects the main menu and shooting range... It literally does not affect your in-game performance, because it's not even on during gameplay. It's not a hard thing to clarify. Just do it. Path Tracing will probably be introduced in the next Call of Duty release; and this is simply them testing it out beforehand. A bit odd, but there you have it. It does look INCREDIBLE though.
Bro... I was using your settings and was able to play perfectly on my HP Gaming Laptop (GTX1650, 16gb RAM, Intel Core i5), and now since a couple of day I cannot get more than 45fps on average, sometimes dropping below 30, it is unbearable... please help me fix this!!!!
Might have try out the optimization. Ive got a 4080 i7 12700KF and i can get 250fps but i feel like i could get it closer to 300
I switched all my setting to this bc I was having issues and figured there were new setting, for the new season. These settings unfortunately made it worse for me. 50fps... not sure what to do, my game was fine when I first got on and now, I am getting 50-60fps...Hoping for some advice.

Curious why you flip flop on the “Renderer Worker Count” setting in each optimization vid. Last vid it was “cores minus 1” (which is common), before that it was “core count,” and now, again, you are recommending to input the # of cores.

In Warzone/MW3, I always have recommended to set to total number of Physical Cores
Resizable bar works fine if you dont use custom profiles in the nvidia control or nvidoa profile inspector. If you used custom profiles..say choose cod.exe..You will cause issies with resizable bar if you have the custom profile It disables itself even though tje config file has it set to false. If you want resizable bar on warzone...disable the custom profiles and just have nvidias set scross the boar. Issue sorted.
FYI I'm seeing AMD FSR 3.0 (instead of 2.1) as an Upscaling/Sharpening option with today's update!

FSR 3.0 is good if you need more performance, just make sure you disable frame generation. Try balanced or performance presets.

I did everything exactly as you said on my gaming laptop and I only got about 15 fps more but the graphics now look terrible.

The FSR (now version 3.0 in-game) does just that. It is rendering the game at a lower resolution, then upscaling to your monitor's display resolution using advanced techniques. It is recommended to set the preset to balanced or performance, then turn off frame generation.

They have added fsr 3 with frame gen i literally doubled my fps check it out four eyes !!
My fps also increases a lot with fsr3, however it is strange because I feel lag and tearing.. with fsr1 I have less fps but it feels smoother, idk why. I can't find information about it.

If you have an AMD GPU, use FSR 3.0 in the Upscaling/Sharpening with AMD Frame Generation turned on. It quite literally doubled my performance with the RX 6650 XT.

@@End0fst0ry that's so nice. It doesn't work on my 2060 that good as on AMD. Have a 50% FPS increase on vondel and ashika (but not constantly) and no increase on urzikstan 😢

Do u noticed that the "eco mode preset" will always reset to efficiency everytime we start the game??never it will stay at custom
You need to change V-sync menus to off (or a setting in that list) which is what defaults it back to ECO.
