Starting a band in high school is worth the memories and good times even if your buddies don't play what you like to play. Everybody listened to and played different stuff for the band I was in, but we came together for the joy of music. We're in our 30s now and have our own music projects, but we're still great friends and each other's biggest music fans. START A BAND!
Gordon Tubbs I'm in my 50s and can claim the same experience. Never cared much for country, but Brad Paisley is in a whole different league as a lyricist and player. Mr. Urban keeps up with him nicely, too. Start a band, indeed!

Absolutely love Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. I still remember that they were in a band together with 2 other people in the early to mid 90s, they only had one album together, I only remember one song from the album, the song was called walkin' the country with me and it was good. Too bad they didn't stick together because both of them were great guitarists and country singers, but when they got back together to do this video and song together it made sense because both of them were very popular and coming back together for a song was just... AWESOME.
This is the first Brad Paisley and Keith Urban song I listened to in it's entirety. Pretty good song!
This is a wonderful collaboration between the two greatest country guitar players right here. I think that Brad Paisley & Keith Urban did a fantastic job trading lead vocals on this song. I don't know if anyone here has noticed but as Keith Urban started singing the second verse, Brad Paisley played the opening riffs to 3 famous classic rock songs that have since become staples to various classic rock stations due to their popularity. The opening riffs that Brad Paisley plays on his electric guitar includes: Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple, Layla by Derek & The Dominos/Eric Clapton and Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses. It is really amazing to see Brad playing these opening riffs as a tribute to the legendary guitar players of classic rock music that have created them in so many different ways. Otherwise, they don't call this a country rock song for nothing. I love this duet.

I gave up on it, I didn't get beyond finding a singer. RIght now I'm focusing on getting a new channel going and upload some covers of all kinds. Maybe that will help me reach out a little easier. I feel like I live in the wrong country to find people with whom I can play the music I wanna play.
