Lovely! I love the relationship you have with all your animals. I miss my goats. I miss milking. I miss all that wonderful goat's milk and homemade yogurt that I had for decades. Snakes and ticks! I'm with you, snakes and ticks are on my 'don't want to be near or around' list. Don't your sheep get ticks? I've seen sheep here that get a lot of ticks. Once I sheared a sheep that had a lot of ticks on it and I was creeped out. Just being near all those creepy crawlies was a challenge that I could have done without. I just wish my situation is the same, if I may share a bit, I live in a tropical place, we had an island but unfortunately disaster happened in a time my father and uncles are preparing for the future, assassinations, ethnicity, conflicts, strike, its so frustrating!!!
