    Multi-Link rear and available air leveling is a big add. Electronic power steering should be more reliable also + no fluids.

      @@aquilophonix755 can't recall the video, but I believe it was mentioned from a Toyota engineer when talking about the new platform... (That the Tundra and 4Runner share the same, or slightly tuned frame)

    Still wish we could get one with a clutch, but a business must meet the needs of its market, and sadly manuals are a dying breed in North America. Whatever, I’m happy with my old ‘83 pickup with the 22r. I can’t wait to see how this newer generation will fare when they get to be nearly 40 years old.

      No it won't. Look at the fuel economy between a Tundra with 5.7 V8 and the Ram 1500 with 5.7 V8 HEMI. Tundra get 15 to 17 mpg, Ram gets 20+ out of the same displacement

    We want a Toyota Tundra 5.7 V8 with a 10 speed transmission. Basically, a Tundra with the V8 but more fuel efficient.

      Check with AirLift, they make the air bags similar to what are found on semi trucks and trailers with air suspension. You install them as an extra, meaning you don't take out major suspension components. Worth looking into. I have no idea on pricing, never needed them for my Ram 1500

    So Toyota is using the same frame for the Tundra and Tacoma. sounds like the Tundra will be getting the short end of that stick. pun intended seeing as the new Tundra has a smaller interior all around. I expect the real world gas mileage to be 2-3mpg better than the V8. all while having a smaller cab and inflated price. when will they release the "world beating" model? I have not seen it yet.

      put up the 2020 model with v8 next to the new 2021 V6 ... run them down 1/4 mile, see which one comes in first... bet the v6 smokes the v8
