Hybrids used to be for slow and efficient vehicles, now they're used in full size trucks! Wild how far we've come!
Right, but the iForce MAX powertrain does not do a whole lot for efficiency. It’s merely for performance and the ability to run power to other devices. I hate to break it to you but this is a form of greenwashing. The impact Toyotas standard pickup lineup to the hybrid is nominal.
@@rylans.5365 The i-Force MAX powertrain uses the same gas engine as the non-hybrid Tundra, but provides a significant increase in power without any fuel economy penalty. It used to be to get that kind of power, you needed a larger V8 engine, which also came with a significant decrease in fuel economy compared to the V6. So while the hybrid doesn't really increase fuel economy over the base V6 engine, it does provide much better fuel economy than the old V8.
Toyota is king!!! Cant wait for that land cruiser, and the tundra twin turbo v6 is just a beast
Thanks for the love. 🥰 It means the world to us! 🫶
No one else can beat the reliability, specs and prices. Easy choice to make
It’s about what drives you. 😎
I wish they would add that to the 2.8 Diesel or even better the V6 Diesel and put them in the Hilux. The ford Rnager v6 Diesel is just miles ahead if that 2.8 4 cyl.
Great video. I just got a new First Edition Land Cruiser. Probably the most wonderful, versatile, and fun vehicle I've ever driven. After watching the i-FORCE MAX description, I realize that the days of working on my own vehicles are long gone LOL! I wonder, though is the Land Cruiser engine an Atkinson-type of powerplant as in other Toyota Hybrids?
Just got the iforce max tundra with 1794 package. Holy cow the truck is fast
Very good ❤
Which Transmission is this?
L4A0E/L4A0F - 10-Speed Hybrid
L589F - 8-Speed Hybrid
sadly i dont see the 1500W home outlet from sienna.... that would be so much more helpful on a truck
I hope they would bring the same to next generation Toyota 4Runner SUV. We need all of the things in Toyota Tacoma in it with a panorama roof variant top trim and please don't make the tire to thin like a capstone Sequoia. Tubeless thin radials are not good enough for an off-road beast like 4Runner.
Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro simply the best
Glad you're a fan! What makes the Sequoia stand out to you?
@@toyotausabro ghosted Toyota
Trucks and suvs with Toyota hybrid system have a vibration issue.
I got rid of the capstone 2023 because Toyota couldn’t fix it
They lemoned it
It’s only on 2023 models that have this ridiculous issue
@@usmcraid5332 I’m in the process of doing that. They are trying to sell me that it’s road noise. I told them there were instances where the lane departure had to be disabled because it was a safety hazard. May I ask what were their reason for the buy back?
@@usmcraid5332 it’s not as bad in my tundra but the Sequoia is pretty bad
@@usmcraid5332 may i ask what were their reason for the lemon? They keep insisting that this is normal operation and the vibration is a normal characteristic of the vehicle.
@@djqx shuddering when shifting so bad you have to let go of the gas
How long will it last 😂?
Toyota is way ahead of the curve for hybrids. My gf had a 2008 Prius that had 400k miles. Only reason it’s gone now is because it was rear ended. Original battery and engine. They’re built to last
Your quality went thru the window when you decided to partner with Maruti in India.
Idiotic
Idea that was
Seems like an overly complex and outdated driveline.
Why not electric axles, battery and a generator on a downsized engine.
Expect better from Toyota.
Ram-charger for the win.
