I really enjoyed this one. You got that bike right to the point many of us do. You went through the carburetor thoroughly. You have compression and spark. The timing is on point. And it still will not start. I hope you get it sorted out. Please let us know if you do. Thanks for your videos.
Back in the 70’s I bought a second hand 73 CB125 to use through the winter so as to save my Z650 and Z900 the winter ravages. I seized the engine on it due to lack of oil!…. I didn’t know on those little Hondas to check the correct oil level you have the dipstick unscrewed and resting on the crankcases! No one told me, Doh!…. I fitted a later CB 100N engine straight in, lesson learned.
my Daddy Buzz & me picked up a candy apple red 100 in '73, was a wonderful bike for me to ride & play with, been drinkin' the Honda cool aid all my life his bike was a 305 superhawk, would to have a super like Buzz's Lumpy
I stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and just realized your in Bay St Louis, I think I sold y’all that yellow Yamaha in the last couple months
Depending on your location , Calif is one. Your carb cleaner may be politically correct in formula and non-flammable . So no good for starting. I’m Calif and have to keep it in mind . Also the modern gas blends can lose potency in 4-6 weeks.
The tank looks great on this bike. The white, red and black livery is one of my favorites from Honda. Classic look, but it ages well!
I like it too!!! Thanks for watching.
She is gorgeous!! 🤩😍 I'm so glad you shared all this. I learned a lot about chasing electrical issues. Thanks for sharing!! Katy Perry FTW!!!
Definitely KP for the win! Thanks for watching.

@motorcyclerewind What ever happened on this one?
For all the wiring complications, Hondas are still fun to have. Good luck with it.
Thanks for watching

this was a great video for my saved playlist on the CB/CL 100/125 maintenance. Thanks I love these as much as the 70's horizontal series honda's.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching.
Good job diagnosing the electrical! I have a 71 cl that was a head scratcher until I changed out the spark plug boot. Resistor vs no resistor dealio

No way! I am actually in Slidell. Send me an email motorcyclerewind@gmail.com.
Before you start it always check compression and the valve lash.. and frist thing make sure it has fresh oil and the timing is spot on..
That’s a great tip. Thanks for watching.
I work on motorcycles too is your buddy saleing any DT175 parts for a Yamaha I need a good crankshaft
I will check.
And a drive chain👌,
It needs a stopper for the center stand too.
In pinch you could also use an emrey board
I used to keep a small one in my tool box. Thanks for watching.
Have the points been previously adjusted or misadjusted?
They definitely were! Thanks for watching
Nice work ive got a question what type of screw drivers do you use JIS Type??
Vessel is the brand.
Maybe someone already pointed this out but I think you are going to need a chain too
Yes, we will! Thanks for watching!
A problem I encountered with one bike was the advance and retard cam was 180 degrees out. It took me 3 days to work that out, Do check it.
I'll check it. I think this one only goes on one way. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!

Great point! Thanks for watching.
My 71 cb100 had a ground issue in the rear right blinker mount. Cleaned up the chrome and frame which made a big difference. I love this little bike!
Why are you doing these bikes?
Why not? Thanks for watching.
@@motorcyclerewindI love that you’re doing all these bikes! Keep it up 👍
