Let me just say that I usually keep it cute and quiet and never drop up and through someone's comment section, but hearing (and seeing🥺) you share about your breakup provoked me to just stop by and say that things will get better and that I'm praying and rooting for you sis. I, at the big age of 38, just finalized a divorce a few months ago and I must say that this experience has been absolutely devastating. Witnessing your family fall apart is truly heartbreaking and gut wrenching. Especially when you've done all that you could possibly do to save it. And then the healing process is sad and lonely. When a person becomes an integral part of your life it's truly hard to even know what to do with your days. So while I may not know exactly how you are feeling, I can truly relate to what you are going through. I'm happy that you have been surrounding yourself with family and friends as this truly helps with the healing journey. Some days will downright suck but know you are blessed to have a tribe bearing this storm with you and that each and every day that passes leads to less sad/happier days. 🤗 You've got this sis. ❤️

Oh Tashira! I had speculated something was up with the copious solo travel. I am so sorry that you and Onrae have split. But I am happy to see that friends and family are helping you through some of the difficult time. I am going through a divorce right now myself at 53 and I can say that I understand how some moments can be oh so dark. It is daunting to think of being alone at my age. But I am learning to appreciate me and value me and know my worth. My mother taught me that some people, friends, lovers are for a season. We must treasure that season and welcome the new. To love and have lost is better than not to have loved at all. We will be alright. Sadness endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. God’s promise! Blessings to you. Love you sis!

Hi Sis, I am also facing a live altering aspect as I approach my mid-century birth season. So yes, I can empathize, sympathize because after 28years of marriage, 2 kids and surviving Rona-free pandemic… we could not bridge the divide of personalities.

It will get better with time. I will say my past relationships, as hard as it was when they didn't work, did prepare me for better things. I went through a divorce at 42 and thought it was the end, but God showed me that it was the beginning instead. As a believer, I know that God puts people in our lives for specific periods when He sees that we need something. She lifted you up. She gave you something you were missing in your life. I too just (like two days ago) ended a 10 year relationship that I thought would last the rest of my life. And I’m 52 years old. I'm currently going through a divorce and as well as watching my grandmother transition into a stage of life with dementia and her health failing.
