For a free uninstaller app, this is quite a powerful uninstaller for advance users... But for basic users would recommend Wise program uninstaller Otherwise BCUinstaller is a great alternative if you want more options to remove application which is not found in any uninstaller... Two questions: (1) Do we need to install a software thru this program or do we use this program for uninstallation only? and (2) How does this program compare with HiBit Uninstaller? HiBit Uninstaller is used for installation also, so it records every little thing that is installed and remembers to remove them during uninstallation. It is also free. Thanks for reply.
There is a comparision between jv16 powertools and BCU, both are great but personally and by the comparision based on how much leftovers the uninstaller had jv16 just takes the crown!
I use iobit, or revo, I always forget. The light one. Will try this one though, as I do like open source at least because of privacy reasons. The one I use does have hunter mode though, you point it at exe and it finds the program and the residuals. Sometimes it's priceless.
I'm gonna stick with Revo Uninstaller, cuz its portaable and incredibly lightweight. And does the exact same thing with less steps and click, and a UI that isn't overwhelming
Used Revo until it came up with a question about removing further traces after a restart (it usually doesn't ask this). I did, and crashed my PC totally, forcing me to do a windows reinstall and lose ALL programs!

there is a premium tool called Uninstall tool by crystalidea which is the most lightweight app and works good as i have used it myself but now im using this one
I find it pretty funny you always review uninstall her and I see all those uninstall her are not worthy. That took a real long time you to include a real open source uninstall which I trust

Geek Uninstaller does the same thing but it's lighter and portable
it has paid version which is better and actually removes the lefover files
BKU offers the same features that Geek wants to charge you for free.
I always use this with my clients for uninstalling things
