I only started piano at 65 yoa, just like my Mom. She played for over 20 years, so I have a future ahead of me. This is slightly out of my pay grade, but not for long. I take two lessons a week in Western Switzerland, with two different teachers. I only recently started singing, since I have been very shy about my voice. But it's getting better, and it has helped my musicality. One teacher said he was impressed with my technical skills, since I've been striving to incoorporate exercises like this in my practice. But this was so instructive. Merci beaucoup.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. How exciting for you! I have known many adults who started piano around 60 years of age and played for 20-25 years, getting quite accomplished. Please keep me posted on your journey! Best wishes!
