Hey NBT, Your videos are a delight, especially when I'm having a meal. The whole eating-and-watching-TV vibe is perfect, and that's exactly what I get from your content. The only downside is they seem to wrap up after just two bites of food. Longer videos would be fantastic for an extended enjoyment.
As always a great video and suppresing the nyc noise in the background which must be pretty hard. Couple of suggestions I have is to include a small part of the video from the phone too and when you tell assistant to do something either mute the keyword or once the timer is setup ask it to undo the timer. Real world problems with assistants😂

This was an awesome video. Being "google exclusive" in terms of tech is a really interestin viewpoint. If google can make the 2nd gen Pixel Fold a solid option, I might switch from my secondary phone (Flip 5) to get a taste of the raw android experience.
One thing that makes Google the best ecosystem, is the only fact that Google owns and created TH-cam, and is the best platform to create and watch videos of almost any subject. 👍

Whilst it would be easy to sit in a lovely (and dry) office/studio and do close ups of you taking a phone out of a box (why is that a thing?) you get to see how things work in the real world. I have just moved over from all things Apple to all things Google, and your video mirrors my experience to date perfectly. Will you be doing more on the Nest Thermostat as id love to see a real world review/test of it.
When you are not made of money to be able to dive into the Apple ecosystem you are relegated to the Google and Samsung ecosystem. But Google seems to be getting better with each new hardware and software iteration.
your video is right on. I've been waiting for the vertical ecosystem from google to step up. i used pixels from 2-7. and now the fold. There has always been a hole. Used to be the watch. Now that the watch is better, the hole is the tablet. "The pixel tablet doesn't approach anywhere close to the ipad. Most reviews downgrade it. I haven't tried it. Ive got the pixelbook go, but thats not in the tablet class. May wait to see if google brings one out this year. Mr. Mobile mentioned vertical ecosystem in one of his last videos of the year with the comparison to the apple version. This is where I stand. Close, but not quite there. But closer than ever before. I use the pixel fold and the pixel watch. Both with an ipad....missed it by thiiiisssss much
YT music >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Spotify. Used Spotify for years and moved to YT Premium for family and got the music as well. The recommendations are way better and even gives me some Gujarati Folk music that's not even on Spotify. Plus the family loves YT without the ads.
The only thing you left out was wearing a helmet while biking and I'm not trying to be offensive, but I have a TBI and it was aggravated by knocking myself out biking. I have been a TH-cam Music user for a while now and it recommends music if you use it long enough plus it gave me my 2023 recap, kinda like Spotify. And they have video podcasts and you can comment some of them which is cool. I don't mind paying for the Fitbit service because when I first got a wearable I could only afford a Fitbit and the darned thing broke right after the warranty expired 😆 I still see my old data in there. But your body was great and the only other thing I'd use the Pixel tablet for is Ebooks and maybe audiobooks. But yes it was an awesome video and I laughed when you activated my Google home mini in the kitchen behind me and set that 5 minute timer 😂 ohh btw the way you get music reconnected too is just ask by voice or maybe write it in, TH-cam Music to play a song and thumbs up the ones you like and at the same time create a playlist. I've found Latin artists I've never heard of that way that I now like. ☕

"I'm not the most confident biker in the world...." goes biking without a helmet in the rain lol FYI I'm only pointing this out because I had a horrible bike fall riding on a wet trail after rain, then again I was on a hybrid bike, I'm sure that city bike has wider tires and better wet traction.
I was banged up & bruised, but I'm okay thanks, I was sore for a while but thankfully didnt break anything, definitely could've been way worse if I didnt have a helmet on. The foam padding on it cracked on impact@@NBTJacklyn
Great video. I’ll hand it to Google on its design innovation in its devices. My issue is the companies privacy, security and corporate values. They do some pretty shady stuff so no matter what they come out with I don’t trust them.
I think Google's products and services are top notch. Have you seen their Project Zero video series. As far as privacy, that could probably be improved but it would probably break some functionality of stuff until it can all be processed on the device which would probably drive up the cost of hardware.
I do this every day. its Great! haha. I refuse to use Apple stuff. I will not be locked down to buying $50 cables and not being able to repair my own devices easily if needed. Plus Google's AI is leaps ahead of Apple these days. I'll take that any day over the same phone being released year after year and adding "titanium" as a selling point. AI camera, google assistant, customizable and more affordable is the way to go. At least for me. There is an argument for both sides...I just have picked my side and thats it! :)
