- LEGO has made some GREAT games, but none as great as LEGO Indiana Jones 1: The Original Adventures. It's my all time favorite game, so why not try and challenge myself by making Indy poor? Better get started on those museum donations, bud.

Yeah and this may sound as a bit of a hot take but I think this is not only one of the best LEGO games but also one of the Best Indiana Jones related games ever outside of like Indiana Jones' greatest adventures on SNES and some of the PC point and click adventure games

I can't remember if this, or Lego Batman were my first Lego Game (and video game in general) but I remember loving this game so much. I haven't played it in at least a decade... I wish my disc wasn't broken so I could play it again.
Yeah I do have memories of playing indiana jones and star wars on a ps2 i got from a friend. Good times. (This was 2014-2015)

They sell for like 20 bucks digitally on the xbox store, but they also go on sale often and end up being like 5 bucks
I think I found a glitch that can cut off the 2 studs in 1-2. If you fall into one of the pits, the side wall at the bottom doesn’t have collision, and you can out of boundary skip to the loading zone.
Loving your LEGO videos! You actually inspired me to get the LEGO Star Wars the Skywalker Saga! And this was probably the first LEGO game I've ever played! Your videos are so underrated. They're so creative and original! Keep up the great work!
I found my ps2 in a closet a couple months ago, and played this game from start to finish, 100% completing it in the process. I had a blast. Definitely one of my favorite lego games

Temple of Doom has 3 studs collected, not 2. You get 1 on 2-2, 1 on 2-3, and 1 on 2-6 (you said 'You have to grab one stud when jumping onto this last stretch of land'). Still very impressive.
I always feel like such a Neanderthal when delving into any speedrunning content, watching always feels like:
"To start we walk over to this metallic gate and do what is known as a Double Helix Chromatic Fidelity Subversion..."
...excuse me?
"...to pull this off we want to spam double jump. We'll then flip from the highest resolution to the lowest, alternating at every apex. Do this 51 times and the game will spawn a second metal gate that will push us out of bounds bypassing this area."

Watching this makes me realize when I was a kid I played this game so many times I did some of the Speedrun techniques before speedrunning was a thing
Actually speedrunning has been around since after doom 1993 was released in pretty sure
@@Curlyheart even earlier. from what i remember, the inspiration for sonic the hedgehog came from a developer speedrunning world 1-1 in super mario bros, then wanting to make a platformer with an emphasis on speed

I remember playing this on my brothers DS
I 100% this game, the second one, as well as Star Wars TCS on the Wii. I have no memory of any of these levels or actually doing the game. I do know that I played it a ton, and I just checked my Wii and I do have it 100%. I was 7 at the time so I guess I forgot what all I went through. I have tons of memories of the second one as well as Star Wars though.
For the bottle counting as an explosive, my guess was it was just easier for them to make it explode to damage the guy, or make it easier to hit him, and didn't think much of it.

Im pretty sure there used to be a cheat or mod that pushed the studs away from your character
Bet. You need studs to buy characters to get treasure chests (minikits)
