Jesus Christ called the Holy Spirit "Spirit of Truth" (John 14:17; 15:26; John 16:13) and warned us, "All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men" (Matthew 12:31).
so heaven is full of atrocity creators who did their acts with the Holy spirit in their hearts?
If its an eternity with dishonest monsters making it worse than prison.
I deny the Holy spirit and I'll go with the rest of the honest moral folk to hell and have a great time knowing all the worst our society has to offer have fell for Pascal's wager hoping to pass their sins onto someone else.
Repenting on your death bed makes a mockery, as those that fall for Pascal's wager, will go to slavery. Those who believe can take my sins from me,
are not only delusional but are free to flee, we own our own history and that's how we come to be, our moral compass, needs no deity, try and take my sins you'll be my enemy.
We've definitely been lied to using Sophistry, reigning in mans nature to stop atrocities, so now who's flawed logic should keep the authority. Everyone wants global hegemony.

God Almighty says in the Qur’an Those who disbelieved after their belief and then increased in disbelief, their repentance will not be accepted, and those are the ones who are astray.
Those who believed, then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, then increased in disbelief, God would not have forgiven them, nor would He guide them to a way.

I appreciate Ayaan Hirsi Ali- However, her claiming that "christians" have changed their view on God and/or Hell is completely 100% false. The bible doesn't change. Jesus' teachings never changed, God never changed. Therefore a REAL, BIBLICAL christian never will either. It makes me so sad to hear a woman so intelligent encourage masses of people, basically anyone who is not islamic, encourage them to essentially create their own god/religion. It's an oximoron.

      @rickowens4397 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@diegosebastianperez6867 New Testament texts often reflect, rather than challenge, the violent household and political structures of the ancient world. Jesus tells parables in which beatings, and even killings, of household slaves are affirmed as disciplinary measures (for example, Luke 12:45-47). Paul warns the Corinthians, that as their “father,” he might return to them “with a rod,” presumably to beat them (1Cor 4:21). In Gal 5:12, Paul expresses the wish that those who disagree with him on the matter of circumcision might “castrate themselves.”

Enlightenment is openly talking through ideals and being open to change and accepting of diversity. I LOVE the fact that even if you wish death to Ayaan Ali this is discussed more and perhaps non-Muslims can understand in part the issues surrounding Islam, and Muslims have the knowledge they have a way out. I wish nothing but happiness to this forward thinker.

It is the one that makes you a better person.
What is it that makes you better?
    Whatever makes you more compassionate,
    more sensible,
    more detached,
    more loving,
    more humanitarian,

@MrFaraton She is a graduate of Leiden University. She studied the quran from childhood until young adulthood under 'formal' conditions (compulsory) and, I am sure, understands it very well indeed - maybe more than you would like her to. As for FORA.tv, the company has better things to do with its time and money than paying guest speakers to say what they would like them to say. In a market economy, no media company would survive that way commercially, if you would bother to think about it.

She so ridiculously simplistic and out of touch! Just because she had a bad experience with Islam and some Muslims, she decides it should be overcome? As someone who left Christianity to become Muslim, and with experience of reverts like me, you don't see us going around bashing our former faith the way she does with Islam. Islam is not about 'submission' in the English sense of the word, you don't eradicate your free will or intellect by trying to become one with Allah(swt) through Islam...

I love Ayaan, however the only strategy I can see in her desire for more Muslim's to be exposed to Christianity is to undermine Islam.
Maybe she thinks Christian's are more easily converted away from faith and that Muslim's need to move to a "Christian" faith first as stepping stone to enlightenment and atheism.
which isn't bad strategy come to think of it!

in 4:90 it says except those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty... So this time it wasn't talking about apostates. They wish that Muhammad fell into misguidance, so that him and they are equal in that regard. This is because of their extreme enmity and hatred for him. Therefore, Allah said, "So take not protectors from them, till they emigrate in the way of Allah. But if they turn back"

interesting. ali has basically taken hitchen's question to christians - "would you rather a child raised in saudi arabia become wahhabi or atheist" - and turned it to atheists: "would you rather that rather that first generation teen hanging around that london/new york mosque to become a muslim or a christian"
hitchens, we know, would rather a chrisitan than a muslim
but what's awkward is that ali is basically making the same argument as ann coulter - that we need to convert muslims to xianity

I am encouraged that she is seeing that the Christians are a better option. However, that just because most uneducated, nominal Christians do not believe in a hell, doesn't mean that is the actual doctrine. They are essentially putting their own views into the the Word of God. I do not like hell, if I did i would be a lunatic hence why I am choosing to life by God's plans, rather then mine because "His thoughts are higher then my thought, His ways are higher then my ways." which will indeed keep me out of eternal torment. I understand that you might be thinking that I have lost my mind in submitting to this. And yes, it is very difficult to submit , but because it is hard, i know that it is real because of its rewards.
But there is so much more then just what i can put into a youtube comment, the Love of God , the forgiveness of sins, the assurance of salvation, the blessed life and blossoming of genuine peace, compassion and being able to see people and love people as God see's His children ( which is overflowing with more love then i could ever comprehend) . Hell is only something that I desperately desire to be a instrument to pull people from, not out of religiosity but out of my love for them. But the danger is that people will not realize or want to be pulled from that if they indeed do not believe in Hell.

Why do you think that is?Not because Christianity is so peaceful, just look at history. Christians stopped having witch burnings and crazy Inquisitions not because of the Bible or themselves, but because of secularism. That's the only difference between Islam and Christianity, Christianity is practiced in countries that were made secular after ages of religious oppression and Islam is practiced still in theocracies. History has shown what Christianity is like outside secularism.

People don't realize that even the smallest lie will doom us to an eternal separation from God if we don't get honest with God about our sins and repent & let Him wash the sins away. God hates sin because it hurts us and separates us from Him.

-The verses in the Quran that states killing infidels only when they kill you, and you stop the killing when they stop killing you (always self defense)
-Beat you wives! The Quran gives a wise stepwise method for those violent men to only resort to beating after taking a long course of anger management. Those who are not violent are not addressed in this verse.

An Appeal to Authority is a fallacy with the following form:

    2. Person A makes claim C about subject S.
    3. Therefore, C is true.
Just because someone is right about one thing doesn't mean that everything they believe in is true. Also, I am not talking about the accomplishments individual human beings. I am talking about thought processes. Logic is always better than making it up.

Abstractions about God creates a false "god"! Papists and islamic philosophies shake hands. Christians relate with the Incarnate God-Man Jesus- that He live in our "hearts". Please tell this lovely one: Light of Christ in glory becomes "fire" to those who reject Him, and illuminates those who love Him! RC's can "create" (the pope) any dogma since it's not based on Holy Scriptures, but on his infallibilty! God is revealed in Christ- the greatest "Lover of Mankind" and transformer of our lives!

88:21, 5:54 serves nothing of killing apostates. 9:66 is taken out of context, read from 9:64-67, it talking about hypocrites. 2:217 also says nothing of killing apostates.

Be aware of the sweet and diplomatic tongue that is like poison dusted into honey.
Lies about the Almighty and His messengers has its pay price.
    The Almighty sees the hearts.
A person speaks the truth till it is written on his book among the trustworthy, and person lies till it is written on his book among the liars.
One day you be exposed and the truth will prevail against all odds.

Um. No. What the world needs is less religion entirely. We need more people basing their thinking off of reason and common sense. And everyone is born with that. Not off of who has the better imaginary friend.

First of all, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, I like you very much! You have a sharp mind. Only, regarding hell you are not using it. I don't mean the hell conception of the Middle Age, which might have been influenced by Islam. The Bible doesn't give such descriptions! The Bible only says that it is an horrible place, a place where God isn't present. Jesus mostly says, "....where their worm not dies!" Their worm? What is that? Could it be their conscience? - But why must there be a hell, if there is afterlife? Well, I invite you after your death to sit next to Hitler or Mohamed!!!!!!!! Does this sound like hell to you?

It is interesting for me to see how various people move from various religious upbringing to atheism. I also think the reason she fears for her life colors her views, which is quite understandable to me. I consider her a sort of cultural anthropologist with personal viewpoints.

...you develop your knowledge, morals and character through research and study of yourself, the world, and what Islam as a way of life says about this. Islam DOES NOT permit the beating of ones wife, nor does it teach killing anyone(believer on not) for no or ridiculous reasons.Instead of trying to compete as people of faiths or no faith in a 'market place' as she puts it, we should share our ideologies with respect and passion for what we believe in, not to insult the ideologies of others.

and muslims should make apostates feel threatened if they do it as a renegade. And muslims dont misinterrprete it, they take verses out of context like you are doing now. And theres nothing to improve, you simply take verses out of context and no knowledge of its history.

What religion a person chooses is up to them. However, before someone starts listening to some liar about what Islam is they need to do some research on the internet; preferably on .ORG sites as they're a more reliable source. This way they can get an outside look at who Mohammad was and an overall look at the religion.

The Bile has so many of these huge unverifiable stories that somehow don't show up in any other account, that it is worthless, even as a reference. Between all the stories of which we know they are outright lies or stuff that never happened (like the census and Herod's rampage) it's impossible to identify something that may have been true.

Here is the words of the early church father, Origen (3rd century CE):
“The differences among the manuscripts have become great, either through the negligence of some copyists or through the perverse audacity of others; they either neglect to check over what they have transcribed, or, in the process of checking, they make additions or deletions as they please.” Origen, early church father in “Commentary on Matthew.”
Greek gospel were written after the Jew-Roman war 66AD. Prior to the war, the followers of Jesus (pbuh) were the Jewish Nasoraen. NOT Greek Romans. Interesting isnt it. Did the Nasoreans who rejected Paul even use Greek gospel? Do the contents of Greek Gospel support Paul's doctrine or not? Its easy to figure these things out.

What is the penalty for apostasy and homosexuality under sharia law?

    • @Me-hq7jy
      @Me-hq7jy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Being homosexual is not punishable itself due to Allah creating us all just how He pleased and He thinks we’re all perfect in his eyes, the issue comes when people act on their feeling. What do we mean by that? Well having a same gender partner, having same gender sex, and presenting urself as homosexual out in the open in a way that promotes it and makes others want to do what your doing a well. The punishment in sharia laws when acting on homosexuality is punished by the death penalty.

That's like saying "why Nazism needs more competition by Francoism". Even I as an atheist thought that christianity is about peace and love but it is just chauvinistic shit. If she wants the muslims to leave Islam because of its ideology then she may not encourage them to convert to christianity because it's also a shitty ideology. If she wants them to leave Islam and convert to christianity because Christians have become more peaceful and tolerant (which means they ignore their own rules) why doesn't she encourage them to join a peaceful and tolerant group of muslims. For example most sufis are very peaceful and there are other groups. In neither way converting to christianity is good or logical.
PS: converting to any religion and believing in it is bullshit.

@justonemorename Actually, Canada was the home of abolitionism. It was the first country to abolish slavery in 1792. Britain was second in (I believe) 1808. Canada then became the end goal of the Freedom Train. America caught up some 3 or 4 generations later to it's great credit, by way of the marvelous leadership of Lincoln and other like-minded leaders.

It's her education, intelligence, independent mind, and the free spirits that marks her out from the rest. Submission to any religious ideology or cult is not for her. Islam demands submission. But she is not ready for it. She has a critical, skeptical, and an independent mind that raise questions, and demands answers. This goes against grain in the way of Islamic teaching. Women raised under Islamic culture are expected to be submissive. Education of girls is frowned upon by Muslims. They even target girls on their way to school with acid or bullets on the face. This lady has overcome many obstacles in her fight against discrimination, prejudice, inequality, sexism, perhaps even death threats.

@Em183 you are correct in that shouldn't force people, it's common sense which is why there is no compulsion in religion when it comes to Islam ... like i said before, there is nothing wrong with Questioning THEIR/YOURS "truth" ... everyone rather live i life they know is the truth, this is the safest generalization... wouldn't you like to know your parents, your degree, your memories, your religion are not fake? ... this is part of the sciences to question in order to get at the truth :-) ..
