Just wish PSN would port the PS1 Bushido Blade 2 game to the North American PSP store. Recommend SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 (FB3 is good, too) as this series makes the most of the PSP's limited one-stick controls and is a really good game as well. Ace Combat: Joint Assault is a terrific flying game. Gran Turismo for racing. Madden 12 for football. SWAT: Target Liberty for squad tactics. Metal Slug Anthology for side-scrolling shooters. Young Thor is a good side-scrolling mini. A Space Shooter For Two Bucks delivers as well. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite also has lots of fans. So many good games for the PSP, I still play this obsolete 2005 handheld console every day.

Assassin's Creed would be high on my list if it weren't so easy. The story and gameplay are there, but that game doesn't challenge you until the very last boss at the end. I don't get how that got past the game testers.
Yep. And that sucks because the story and it's execution were so great. It was one of those stories you can fall into. More modes and a deeper difficulty and fighting system could have made this one of those games you feel spoilt to have in handheld form. Sadly, the whole series suffers in the fighting system department to some degree due to how it was designed in the first place.
i don't tend to care much for portable gaming BUT when i play portable games i like puzzle games... LUMINES and LUMINES 2 for my psp have seen more playtime than any other portable games i have ever owned, they are my joint 1 game without question
