I love going to the keystone and listening to Jerry play all night with my friends. Sometimes it was just me and Jerry would play all my favorite songs.
On days I'm not feeling it. I can turn on this video and watch it and before I know it ! I can't remember or the feelings been replaced by love and kindness for others! Thank you Jerry I will never forget you!
I was at this show, with out doubt the best Jerry show I had ever been to .. . in spite of all the adversity I faced that night... The music was magical.. Kept me on the bright side of the road! God Bless Ya Jerry... See ya in Heaven!!(if your not to busy)
Kemp Blair I was at this show also⚡️I was enlisted in the military at the time. It was truly magical, the set list was phenomenal, both sets. My favorite Jerry ⚡️Show no doubt. He was happy, he played the best rare cover tracks along with the originals I love. Waiting for a miracle being one. Bruce Hornsby was an amazing gift to this show as well
Bill Walton was a great man. I never once met the man but he sure sounded like a friend everytime I heard him speak with that huge smile, and I'm still sad he is gone. I never got into the Dead but I'm starting to and I'm 53! Thanks Bill
So heartfelt, so poignant, yet ultimately hopeful..] Jerry Garcia and Van Morrison, two of the finest songwriters and performers in all recorded musical history...
I enjoyed the jerry garcea band mour then the dead because Jerry was mour in his comfort zone and enjoying himself having fun doing what he did best his music will live on for ever
I just cried again for Jerry while I am jamming to this video. It's been years since I cried over Jer... 😅 He changed everything for me and the way think. Every time that I saw him live, I could change who I was and become a new person. But this solo got me for sure. ❤😊 Thank you for sharing this!
Van Morrison is incredible! I saw him once after JGB shows in SanFrancisco and his daughter came out to perform!! It was pure elegance and excellence!!
Yeah we were there and when we saw the extra keyboard set up we yes....Bruce is gonna sit in, cause he lives in Williamsburg, right up the way, and it was a great show.
This show was incredible! absolutely my favorite! and these videos of it, the ones you (LoloYodel) put together with Lazy Cow's footage are the unquestionable best!!! Thank you sooooo much!!! I always look for your name when looking for Jerry videos now! Smiles -Katimae
Great times those were... always had a blast at the shows and the music will live on forever Jerry passed away on my brother's birthday 8 9 1995 hard to believe so much time has passed but the music will always be special

Wow, Jerry was 70 years old in 1985, but was only in his 50’s in 1987. Whatever unhealthy shit he did, he gave the world a vast ocean of amazing solos. I love Ruben, Cherish, Gomorrah, Midnite Moonlite, Run for the Roses. Sometimes when just covering some Dylan tune in 1982 at some East Coast liberal arts college, he’d blow your mind
Margie, i see your goodness and appreciate you. I also know my worth and what i want ..right now might not be our time, but i hope we can have it once again...you were an amazing person, but I don't know you anymore...be careful...you can always come home.
This was a grate song to stumble onto., and it might have been a classic if it wasnt for the keyboard solo. Jerry was groovin until that point and then the song grates on you
Thanks for sharing this, I have to say it is difficult to see Jerry frustrated. " Help me sing my song"...is blown off completely. I miss Jerry's joy and authenticity to the bone... What I see here is the disappointments in the folks around him riding on the bus-es and doing another show.

Nothing picks me up like Jerry’s celestial notes, up there, where those notes are born is where I want to be.
This is like a warm, safe, hug. Was then, and still is today. I'm basking in it. Thank you.
I love going to the keystone and listening to Jerry play all night with my friends. Sometimes it was just me and Jerry would play all my favorite songs.
These days, sometimes I need something wholesome. JGB is just so pure. The music smiles the purest smile to me.
So pure

Crying and smiling … Just love it ❤
With God all. Roads are bright Amen.
Miss him. 💔
Every once and a while somebody covers a song that totally eclipses the original. Jerry did that almost every time he played this song.
Now lets not get crazy now. This does not "total eclipse" the original. You've gone WAY too far
Freakin dopey statement. Thanks for living up to the stoner deadhead stereotype.

Yes indeed! And God bless you too! 🙏🏽😀
Lazy Cow’s not so lazy .. right on 🤙🏼
Thank yall!! This is currently my favorite song.
