So do you recommend using this booking site? I’ve never been on a vacation I’m 32 an new life goal is to go on some cruises . Tip and recommendation for using the booking site
Exactly. Opinions matter HOWEVER, try some cheese with that whine. Only one had a whole lot of issues. The rest were pretty cool and stayed on point with their answers.
Those guests right there...a perfect microcosm of carnival guests as a whole. Why? You heard the girl in the casino....free cruises. And, it's not hard to find a cruise for 100 pp per week. Low class repulsive people, that's carnival.
These walkabout passenger interviews is a fresh approach on cruisetube! Great idea. You could consider asking the follow-up question to the "What is something you hate" with "How would you fix it?"
As an “older person” lol, I don’t want to stop younger people having a good time, I enjoy seeing the fun. At the same time, some of the younger ones think they are the only character in the play and don’t respect the fact that others don’t want music blasting down the hall all night or other behavior that infringes on the way other people have a good time. Be respectful, you do you, I will do me, and neither of us have to stop each other from having a great time!
Exactly!! Last month I went to a poppin club in bk it was a blend of everyone from ages 21 to 70! I met an older woman aged 62 in the women’s bathroom she was so awesome she said I’m jealous that you have this now back in the day going to a club you had to be Formal and lady like…seeing you young ladies flaunting your self and having a good time dancing with anyone you wanted without being criticized for drinking like men and having the courage to pick the partner you want for the night without scandal is so refreshing…she asked me for makeup advice and girl chat we hung out the whole night and she got turns smoking a j for the first time…then I met her husband he was awesome as well…I asked them why they came here they said their grandkids who are triplets graduated from college and came from Wyoming..she said my grandkids convinced us to come and they were insecure about the crowd she said my granddaughters wanted to take her out of comfort zone..I’ll never forget that I think if there is good crowd on carnival it can be a carnival….jay your interview persona is so natural even when they are drunk you handle it well and simplify the questions to get an authentic feedback while sailing…
I’m an older person and I loved when the woman near the end said about the grumpy old people! When I see the younger ones like them having fun in a group, I go over and join in! The people on the carnival ships are so much fun!
I was on a cruise in Greece about 1 1/2 months ago and the old people were so judgmental but I didn’t care. There were a few who got energy from us and said they were happy that they could party with us.
This video is a true representation of the passengers on a carnival ship. I have been binge watching your videos as I just discovered your channel, and this was probably the most relatable.
So funny! I'm a "Seasoned" Carnival cruiser. Even thought I'm old I love watching the young people have fun. Carnival Sail Away parties are always a hoot.
My husband and I are "seasoned." I am 75 and He is 85. We have fun on Carnival, maybe at a slower pace. We leave a week from today on Back-to-back cruises out of Baltimore and come home the day after Christmas.
I’ve sailed Royal and Carnival. There are things I like about both. Sadly the last cruise I had on Royal, the passengers were beyond rude and snobby. I’m a 50+ woman and I like people watching. On Carnival that is my entertainment.
I really enjoyed their interview. I'm a carnie too and understand why they love Carnival. I do cruise other lines and am close to platinum on Carnival on the way to Emerald on Royal Carribean, started on Celebrity in 2021. Cruising is the best vacation for the money for me.
Just on the same cruise . Beautiful ship. Good food. Tight pathways especially by the Alchemy bar. 20 Carnival cruises. Great shows. Some confusion between locations of events. Love the auto bathroom doors!!!
I don't sail "Carnivore" often, but drunk young people is the main reason I avoid it. I've seen a number of fights, loud arguments and rowdy behavior on CCL and haven't really experienced this elsewhere. I think that younger people (and I've been there, believe me), often don't handle their drinking responsibly. Obviously, there are exceptions, but it happens enough to make it less enjoyable for others.
As a drunk young person, carnival seems like the choice for me. But i don’t like when things get too trashy. I want to get wasted and party but not have fights break out and people smoking weed everywhere. I’m not sure what would be a fun cruise for young people but not super trashy. I like royal caribbean but it seems to be more towards families and older people
I was at the Celebration a week before..... I agree about the buffet. Their buffet is lack luster, especially for dinner. Royal buffet is much better. But with that said... Royal offers fewer included dining venues... On Royal, you are stuck with the MDR, buffet, and pizza. With Carnival, you have those options and: Italian resturants, BBQ restaurants, Mexican/Chinese restaurants, etc. And it's included..... So you have to put that in perspective. Would you rather have a buffet with more options and less included dining venues or would you rather have a variety of included restaurant options and a lackluster buffet??
79 cruises for me and I like Carnival but it can't compare to Royal Caribbean. Royals ships are AMAZING from their Aqua Theatre shows to their World Class ice shows to their twin surfing simulators and the list goes on and on.
I'm diamond on Royal and platinum on carnival the perks on carnival are much better and both lines are similar with shows food is much better on carnival class of people are the same just that royal cruisers are very rude and feel entitled just over paying for the same type of cruise .I go where they are offering me free room with casino offers
J this is Jay, man you being hyper buzzed yourself doing an interview was/is hillarious. Idont think this should be your new norm but dam it was fun seeing you so relaxed. But after seeing some of those interviewees ( 4get Carnival) in my 20s it wouldve been great though..just my poquito opinion.
I have been on the big 3 cruise lines about equally over 30 cruises. I feel Carnivaal gives you the most for your $$, RCCL is better entertainment, and NCL more laid back but more innovative
I was always against going on a Carnival Cruise. I thought it would be really trashy. My first cruise was the Booze Cruise out of Long Beach. I don't drink but it was so great. Other than the ship having neon lights because it was so old (The Inspiration), we all still had a blast. Now I have done 3 more cruises, and I can't beat it. I've done 5-7 days and I have loved every minute. I love the staff, the whole feel of the Fun Ship is awesome. I cruise alone because my husband doesn't like too, and I always feel welcome, never out of place. I even had one of the members send a Carnival Trophy and chocolate covered strawberries with the sweetest note sent to my room. I have loved their Punchliner Comedians. They always have me laughing and I do love their stage shows. The prices I am getting to travel with them are unbeatable so I will remain a Carney until I cruise to Alaska and New England and Canada, only because their are ports I want to go to and they don't have stops there.
Great video! One thing i learned from this is that everything is subjective or maybe individual experience based. Some loved the layout and service, and for some, it was on the hate list. So interesting.
Hey the former engineer is back! He’s a hoot! But Lordt….it appeared like the drinks were flowing with some of your other intervieweees…cuz the way that lady burst in on that conversation…😂
11:25 is finally the truth 😅! I been on carnival cruise and they’re service and food was not as good as Royal. Especially the specialty’s restaurants. Our server on Royal kept our glasses full! He was moving fast attending us and my kids like he was on crack on something 😅. I NEVER had service so good as Royal. I do like that the lobster is actually free on Carnival and formal night is set like tradition. The drinks are much cheaper on carnival so they keep you messed up to forget the problems 😅!
Love..love..love The Shiplife! I enjoy hearing cruisers honest opinions, just maybe not by ones who have capped out their Cheers package for the day. Lol.

What I love the most about cruisin is I'm cruisin! I love meeting new people. I love the atmosphere. I love everything! What I hate is having to leave.
I was on the Celebration last week. The buffet was ok. The service was good even though they were understaffed many of the nights. Mostly in the main dining room. I knew the name of my room steward the first day. I did see alot of people just make messes on the ship and just walk away. Only issue I had was Center Stage and how on some of the shows you couldn't get a seat unless you were their hours before.
I just got off the Celebration on Sunday from a 7 day cruise. I hate the bathroom doors. And most of trip the ship was rocking more than normal. I could hear the hangers in the closet and you could see people goin left and right as they walked. I don’t know if it was the water or what but it definitely was a topic on the ship
The party life is exactly why i would never do carnival. Its really an extroverts paradise and you couldnt convince introvert me that its the cruise line for me. Need a more subdued line

Never never been on a cruise but I've been watching your videos and I think you're great. And I'm leaning towards taking a cruise. Thanks for all you do and your videos. Much love
I like Carnival for my family cruises. On the newer ships, I did not like that the timing of the restaurants was not clear. All of my trials of Royal have been disappointing so far. Besides the extra activities like surfing and ice skating, I will stick with Carnival. With Royal I have never gotten what I signed up for or had customer service address any of my issues. Royal also stops ice cream at early dinner time. I enjoy Holland America when I want to relax and want an older crowd. I like Celebrity when I want to feel fancy. I like Carnival when I want to have fun!!!
When your interview was video bombed with forever cruise guyer I was waiting for a producer to jump out to intervene which may have led to the first ever recorded brawl to ensue in a closed casino 😎
I was on the November 21st sailing on the celebration. I love the atmosphere. The party life is awesome and as a teenager I felt like I could do almost all activities. I do agree with the service part. The first night in the Carnivale restaurant it took us over an hour to place our order. The crew was nice, but it was extremely annoying when they were dancing and singing while we were waiting on our food. Service on the celebration is average at best.
New subscriber here! I absolutely LOVED this video 😂😂😂 people were slosheddd and I can’t wait to sail the conquest in September lol I’m gonna be just as funny as the last girl with her bad language 🤣🤣🤣 keep up the great work, I am loving your channel!
I just got off the Mardi gras and was so disappointed. We’ve been on a handful of cruises with carnival and this one was the first after the pandemic. I echo the guy with the hat. The service and food was terrible. We even had mold on our suite bathroom shower floor 🤢

I like Carnival when I want to have fun!!!
Such an Interesting channel. Thank. U.
Jeff n I are going to try celebration, do you think we will like it.
Carnival got a ROUGH crowd and they over work the crew. The only line I know that assigns like 25-30 rooms to clean per steward and assistant.
The big group loved the bar, for sure.
You need to check the pronunciation of Isla Roatan. It is EYE LA just like EYE LAND..
So sad my husband and I didn’t run into you ! We were on the celebration nov 27- dec 4th and heading home to Charleston sc now 🤣
When your interview was video bombed with forever cruise guyer I was waiting for a producer to jump out to intervene which may have led to the first ever recorded brawl to ensue in a closed casino 😎
They said it FOOD and that is the final answer.
Man that group was hammered.
My best is crew the passengers the fun
The worst part is the buffet can be hit or miss like any buffet
Loved the ship & staff but can’t stand the tipping. How can you charge a tip on a self service machine? Brian from the UK
Jay I love your vlogs !!!! What is your favorite cruise line and why?
I was on the November 21st sailing on the celebration. I love the atmosphere. The party life is awesome and as a teenager I felt like I could do almost all activities. I do agree with the service part. The first night in the Carnivale restaurant it took us over an hour to place our order. The crew was nice, but it was extremely annoying when they were dancing and singing while we were waiting on our food. Service on the celebration is average at best.
I need to know which elevators are getting stuck. Is all 3 banks or just one?
I loved the guy with the Yankees cap. The clearly drunk girl was lol. :)
New subscriber here! I absolutely LOVED this video 😂😂😂 people were slosheddd and I can’t wait to sail the conquest in September lol I’m gonna be just as funny as the last girl with her bad language 🤣🤣🤣 keep up the great work, I am loving your channel!
The towel animals on Carnival are the best 💯
Guy in the striped shirt definitely had some hot takes. 😂 Very forthcoming with his opinions.
I just got off the Mardi gras and was so disappointed. We’ve been on a handful of cruises with carnival and this one was the first after the pandemic. I echo the guy with the hat. The service and food was terrible. We even had mold on our suite bathroom shower floor 🤢
I love the captains laugh!
I really like the passenger interviews.
It’s true Carnivals got the best people to party!
They might enjoy the cruise more if they weren’t drunk the whole time. Jay took more drinks on the group people than the whole cruise lol😂
