Hi I’m a New Yorker too and I have a New Yorkie she’s going to be 4 months in a few days and she’s full of energy 😅. She’s going to get her rabies booster in a few weeks then I can take her outside, but I’ve been training her with the harness and leash so she can be ready when it’s time to go outside 😔 she doesn’t like the harness at all the only way I can get her to fellow me is by having a treat with me 🤦🏾♀️ and then she would walk with me and stop them I bribe her again and she walks some more 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣 . So just try the treat don’t give it to him just show him it and see if he’ll fellow you, that’s just my opinion it works for me 🤷🏾♀️. Good luck with him ❤. Please do more videos on how you guys are doing.
Thank you for the advice and congrats on your yorkie baby! Mochi is much more comfortable walking on the leash now. I found putting the harness on him often even when we’re just inside really helped him. Consistency will help getting your baby used to being on a leash!
At least he ain’t pulling. Mine pulls and runs like there’s no tomorrow on the leash. Now I just take him to an outside space and let him run on a 30ft leash n bring him right back in bc I just can’t with the pulling 😭
