Marie, I really appreciate your making it easier for both seasoned therapists and newbies to market their private practices and absolutely love the idea of "an hour spent face-to-face with a human being is going to bring you more referrals than an hour spent in front of your computer screen" I don't feel in my heart of hearts personal interaction with peers and other referral sources will ever date!
If I was in the Bay Area I would definitely give you a call! I'm beginning my practice and have been trying to schedule one coffee date per week. I hope it's helping! 🙂
Suggestions for networking during the Pandemic? Colleagues have been sending out emails to build their practice, but I’m not sure how much personality is shows up there.
Your videos are fantastic. So helpful. Question - What advice to you have for PMHNPs with regards to a private pay practice? I am much more interested in therapy than medication management, and would love to hear your take on that. Best Wishes.
Hi Marie! Just saying thank you so much for your videos as well! Sounds like you moved to the San Diego area but wanted to reach out anyway. I'm in Mountain View and starting up my private practice specializing in children/Teens. Do you know of any good networking events/groups here I should attend.
Thank you. Your videos have been so helpful diving in. I recently left an organization that I worked for 10 years, starting a private practice is scary but exciting! I welcome the new adventure! By the you are too funny, love your humor!
Oh hello! I grew up on your side of the bay in Livermore. My schedule doesn't have wiggle room at the moment, but I did get invited to an event for therapists in the bay area coming up in April. Let me know if you're interested and I can send an invite!
OMG, you're in the bay area? So am I! I would sure reach out some day if I'm successful in setting up my private practice. Networking is so important. Thinking about doing a bit of private practice to try it out as I continue my full time job now. I'm hoping this would happen in 2020. :)
@@PrivatePracticeSkills What a very small world! I live in the east bay and work in the south bay. Looking forward to more tips and videos from you! :)
