    Latigo is quite possibly my favorite run at any resort I've every been to (which is 7 across colorado, utah and alaska.)

    A few years ago I got on the 10 chair by accident, I'm a blue skier, I get to the top and I'm like 'oh fvck'. So I had to just do it, slowly and carefully but I got down. Not a big fan of BC, it's all Green or Black. Not much Blue (Vail is better for Blue, Snowmass is best)

    I lived Vail for 35 yrs ,I started skiing the "Beav"in 1983, I don't know how many times I skied the " Beav" but the best runs are the BIRDS OF PREY RUNS AND THE "BEAV" HAS GREAT TREE SKIING,"FOOTBALL FIELDS AND THE BALD SPOT !!! THE OUT BOUNDS IS EVEN BETTER , YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO GO!! I HAVE HAD SOME OF DEEPEST POWDER DAYS EVER AT THE "BEAV" JUST SAYING!!😍⛷️🏔️❄️🌨️🌬️

    Something sounds different...
    Anyways, when is the Expert Skiier's Guide coming out?
    Edit: Is the reference about the Loveland mid-mountain trio?

      @SRGSkiing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct on the reference. Researching expert's guide has taken longer than expected, so probably not for another 2 weeks or so

    Red tail is very good in the morning when there is corduroy.

    • @SRGSkiing
      @SRGSkiing  ปีที่แล้ว

      We think any run in the morning that has corduroy is good. But to us, Redtail's corduroy gets skied off faster because it is busier, which leads to it getting icier earlier than many of the other cruisers.

      @@SRGSkiing but if you get there at 8:30 it is a great warmup run and it can be really fast too

    • @SRGSkiing
      @SRGSkiing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, we love early morning cruisers. I was in Courchevel one time skiing the Combe de la Saulire at 830 all alone staring at Mont Blanc. One of my favorite skiing memories ever. Redtail doesn't have those same types of views, but I definitely get where you're coming from with that early morning claim.

      When Redtail gets slick, go to the left edge and ski the bumps down to the road. The snow is usually softer. IF you go left at the road, you can ski down lower Goshawk (black run), or lower Kestrel (double black)This will also give you a sense of what conditions are like on the steeper trails, without having to commit to 2,000 vertical feet of that.

    New pair of vocal chords?
    Also, can you give me recommendations about extreme terrain at Copper? You didn't cover it as much in your Insiders guide.

    • @SRGSkiing
      @SRGSkiing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Start skier's left and work to the right. Stuff on skier's left is pretty wind-swept but stuff on skier's right has way more obstacles and is steeper. My favorite is Boulderado, which I consider to be the hardest.
      Do enough searching and you'll find we have 3 voices on the channel. I'll let you guess which one is mine

    All the lifts and runs are birds of prey (except the runs under larkspur (minus larkspur))

    New voice is not or sarcastic or bitter. His hater’s guide would mention the nice lady who sold him his lift ticket. He doesn't spray snowboards who sit in the middle of slopes taking selfies, and he always compliments the lifties… Do not like!!!
    (But I am going over to sub his channel.)

    • @SRGSkiing

      He doesn't have his own channel??

      I wanted a way to say that he did a good job, without giving up my spicy tone, and saying I would still sub his channel seemed like a good off ramp to me.
