For lodging it really helps to know someone that works for the Vail Corp. My buddy worked for them and he got us a room at the Osprey. It was a $1500 a night room we got it for $300. The rooms were very nice steam room in the shower and they would give you slippers as soon as you walked in off the mountain. Never would i have stayed there had it not been my buddy, so thanks Craig!
I always get so jealous watching the resort reviews lol. The only ski hill (not mountain, not resort, a hill) that's close enough to easily go regularly is called perfect north slopes in indiana. It has a whopping 400 feet of vertical
Ease of access is off the mark. It is one of the most accessible ski areas. It's only 20 minutes from the Eagle airport, and there are plenty of commercial flights.
How are you gonna give Beaver Creek a 5 for Ease of Access when you gave an explanation of how bad of a drive it usually is, and give other mountains also a 5 even though they are directly off the highway?
@@nuggies5852CB is just so hard to get to and it’s got no resort area so if you travel with someone who doesn’t ski/board at all it’s kind of tough to justify unfortunately… I just got an epic pass and CB seems lit but I likely won’t be able to go in favor of all the other CO resorts
On the scoring - you should use a Portnoy scale and dial into the nuances such as 6.4, 9.1 versus binary 1, 5 and 10. BC is an amazing resort for skiers and groomers. Lodging is amazing. 10? Maybe - 8.7/9.1? Yep.

Been riding the Beav for over 20 years. Gotta say you've nailed the review. Especially the bit about the parks. 😢
I miss the mini park next to rose bowl 😢
The parks used to be ight when they had rodeo, but too many kids getting injured caused them to close the larger parks
What happens when youve rewied every resort? Europe edition? 🤔
I LOVE BEAVER CREEK! Might just be my favorite resort to ski. Great review, Johnathan!

The terrain park in 2023-2024 season was peak. all the rails you could think of and pretty big jumps. check it out this winter please.
Can you review Nordic mountain I was just there yesterday and I know you have a video on it
I love beaver creek! that's where i learned how to ski :)

Recommendations for best flowy runs at beaver creek?
Can you go more in depth about the park? How big is it, does it have a jump line? How much did they scale it back
Day pass costs more than my car payment and insurance combined.

Beaver creek is pretty much directly off i70.
You should drop the belleayre resort review
Beaver creek is totally horrible guys you don’t want to come here.. (totally not because I think it’s too packed)
I love beaver creek but it just keeps getting worse same with CB

If the snow comes... trust me, and go to Vail. You will get tons of fresh lines.
Unlisted??? LOL Omg, I wasn't supposed to find this, was I?

The cookies really are the best part
Only 600 skiable acres? Pretty sure it’s closer to like 2000
According to google it’s 1800
When you gonna shred all the ski resorts in Europe?
