Remember coming into Melbourne on the Celebrity Solstice round 2012(ish). Fun leaving at night. The city CBD being slightly inland presents a great backdrop lit up.

A couple of these have gone to the ship breakers now due to the pandemic....

Most enjoyable watch. It was fun looking at ships that we have been on or friends have been on.

Excellent collection of cruise ships coming to Station Pier. Nice editing. Do you have fb? I would like to send you a photo expose of my classic passenger ships which I built over the past fifty years.

Used to go down here all the time and film the ships but since they stopped allowing you to go on pier in 2001 have not been down again bar seeing QE2 depart for final time. Nice footage but these days they all look the same.

must have been a stretch of effort for the light rail(trams) to get all the people from just one of these ships to central melbourne without bouts of impatience developing. they should have left the train service in place. the locals who live in those goddamned expensive high-rise condos on the beachfront are probably whingeing about all the taxis or buses. they seem to be a vocal lot about a lot of things.

Ugly...should not be called ships..they are floating condos....a ship just like a woman should have grace and style.
