And all for a game where you play some dead guy killing monsters to set the world on fire
Just opened this up and it is....Godly. True Masterpiece! Haven't had the chance to play the game but... the music is staggering 😵😵😵😵
😭😭😭😭😭 Ludex Gundyr.
Yhorm the giant.
Abyss watchers
Soul of cinda 😢😢
And
Slime
God bless you for this.
Folks, folks, this is not Latin... Just do not be so gullible, please
at least those who are reading this comment, always check things twice
the link in the description states it is "pseudo-latin" although this is outrageous for anyone who has ever learned a few latin words
not to mention it is not official
1:40 sounded like abyss watchers to me now the lyrics confirm it
There are no actual lyrics, it’s just gibberish.
They say this is what the bosses hear while facing you
I read this from a guy who read it from another guy who said this theme was what enemies hear when they fought the ashen one.
At 1:02 you could really feel the pain and sorrow in the violin and viola.
Thanks
Still my favorite theme from the whole series it's just so damn gorgeous.
I always thought the start was saying 'Daaa soooooooo threeeeeee'😂😂
I don't know if it's a official translation, but this is NOT latin. It's a church-gregorian type language. At the beginning it seems italian. "Brucia pira, priva di vita": burning pyre, devoid of life
I think it's just like an "auditory illusion", words use by the choir seems like "latin" but are more a "latinish" gibberish without any sense but sounds very cool & epic. And knowing that composers use samples, it's even more likely. Choir samples can be found (on the internet and on cd) and the results are incredible.
"Most players will skip and ignore this song, so don't go too hard on it."
The composers:
how this game lost to FUCKING Overwatch on the Best OST of the year is so crazy to me when this exists.
Gaming awards ceremonies are all rigged by whichever publisher shells out the most money to the hosts and you are a fool for caring or thinking how many awards a game has is a trustworthy metric of quality in the first place
Imagine being a shooter and a cop pulls up with an AA12 full auto shotgun and full level 4 plates with a atlyn helmet blasting this you're cooked.
Nothing compares
This is technically our boss theme.
Damn this is so underrated
This music hits hard that it's making me want to go on a Adventure
The whole trilogy is GOATED
dark souls is beautiful
Join the Sun, Like a True God
Praise the Sun !
Rise ashen one!🔥💀
Still the best game ever
All I originally heard was
HEE HA, HEE HA
The soundrack of my soul
I remember letting this play when I had installed it, knowing it was the final Dark Souls. The end of a trilogy. The end of an era.
(For the record I absolutely love Elden Ring lol)
Praise the Sun indeed
Me llega hasta el alma esta canción, me encanta demasiado, ojalá algún día pueda jugar DS3 a más fps (Me corre a 10 fps)
so cool
Fromsoftware only 💪
I'll stick you in my prayers
A fine dark souls to you
interesting
The wise, divine, and mighty God has rejected the coming corruption. Be strong, divine life, resist corruption. Go… Go… Go… Go. A god, living your divine life, calm life. Life is staggering… Slowly… Slowly. Hold, extend into the void! Come to the gold, a new divine God will arise! Divine God! (Abandon sacredness! Join the sun, like a true god!). Leave… Leave… Leave… Leave…
1:28 it hits so suddenly
why i always connect this feeling to guts in berserk
gives me conniptions
Yes found it tyvm
