@Smooth_Operator_83 ok, from what I'm hearing from others. The amps should be between 120 & and 135, but I feel it depends on what type of engine you have, as well as whatever usage you have going on inside your truck.
I don’t know if you ever addressed it but I’m a young guy looking to be an O/O and I’m stuck between Mercer and landstar. Why did you choose Mercer and how do you feel about the first come load board situation rewarding drivers that don’t mind sitting
Not a big fan of 1st come 1st serve. I think they are both good companies. You think the earning potential is slightly better at landstar, but if you are new to being an o/o I would recommend Mercer because you can have your coordinator book your loads while you figure out the business side of being an o/o. If you feel that booking your own loads won’t be a problem, I would lean towards LS. They both have their pros and cons. Trailer utilization and trailer maintenance will probably be one of your biggest gripes at LS.
@@Smooth_Operator_83I forgot to mention I’m also an open deck driver preferably SD so would trailer utilization and maintenance still be an issue at LS if I’m not doing trailer drops and do you have any insight on both companies on the open deck side and which is better in that regard ? Btw thank you for the reply I really do appreciate it
That’s how you stay in the game right there. Great job driver
Thanks trying my best
Nothing like fixing your own saving money that’s how me and my 01 Columbia roll 💪🏽 be safe driva
Thank you. I’m learning as I go.
Definitely loving the using the trailer landing gear as a vice 💯 never thought of that
lol I didn’t either until I didn’t have anything else 😂
Idk how you remember to put it all back together
Going back and watching video while recording lol. Taking pictures. Putting the nuts and bolt back in place until I’m ready to put the new lady on.
What's the amp voltage on the alternator?
@@powermoves9242 I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I ended up replacing it two more times. The one I have now over charges.
