I bought one and it is absolutely fantastic. Only problem is you cannot mount it higher than about 9' to 10'. I mounted mine where my flood lights are on a second floor soffit, 18' above the ground. The camera worked flawlessly for about 6 to 8 weeks then the camera stops picking up people after sunset. Customer service is outstanding from Eufy from my first hand experience. The alert time is fast, much faster than my Arlo cameras. If I had electrical box between 9' and 10' above the ground I would buy this flood light camera again. Again Eufy service is outstanding as evidenced by them offering to return the flood light with a full refund.

During the last rainstorm here in nyc my camera all of a sudden has condensation inside it and doesn’t seem to go away. Is there a way to fix this?

Pricey camera but has some pretty cool features with multiple eyes and motion tracking. No HK support is sad. Great video!

Got mine on the way. Not sure about mounting it directly above my garage door (probably about 7ft) or on the corner of my house so it’s out of reach and covers the front + side. Looks like a fantastic bit of kit though.

Hello. From what I read regarding the specs of this system it operates on 120-240VAC. However I’ve seen some advertisements state it’s 120VAC. So please tell me what your system has stamped on it. Thank you in advance.
How to get around recording every single bug that flies from 9pm - sunrise . Motion is set to lowest and range detection to 0 . During the day it’s perfect .
I liked this camera and also has a great app, but mine died after 14 months due to water leakage, the lens was cloudy with water vapor in it for quite a while, but then one day after a storm had a lot of water in the dome, not water proof, buy at your own risk!

Thank you. It has both options in the settings. You can also default different brightness and color temps for each option.

These companies make great hardware but man, every single new product always has major software shortfalls. It's really disappointing.
Great upload my main question is how is it as far as water resistant. Ring pro major problem in pnw wet weather fills the lights up with water.
Good question! It's IP65 so it's ready for bad weather, such as heavy rain, snow, fog, and more. I've had it out in the elements for a number of years now, and it shows no water intrusion issues.
I have a long narrow side area of my home. Probably 30ft long. And 3.5 ft wide. What camera from eufy would you recommend?

Yes and no. They recently released a newer verison with dual cameras. There are a few new things in the newer one that I like more and few things in the old one that I wish they continued in the new one. Hi just wondering if this camera can be wired up using a plug to put into wall socket instead of hardwiring it into home . Thanks
I don't recommend it but I don't see why not. Anyone can splice wires together. But it's not designed to plug in that way so you'll have to retrofit a plug and extension wires.
No HK support is a bummer for sure. I love the walled garden for so many reasons but I’m so disappointed with the lack of options for certain things. There are like 2 maybe 3 doorbells. Maybe 1 flood light camera, 1 ceiling fan control switch, and the list goes on and on.
Yes it's a bummer. I'll even take a great home bridge plugin. Hopefully the current plugin will get better soon cause it has so many great features. Yeah 2021, was pretty disappointing for new HK but hopefully it will get better in 2022.

Those are totally two different products and designed for differnet scenerios.
Do floodlights still work if wi-fi connection is lost or not available?
So i changed our wifi SSID/password. Forgot to update the floodlight. So it lost connection to the WIFI. The dusk to dawn lights wouldn't turn on. However any motion detection automatically turned the lights on and the camera was still tracking me as i walk around.
Does this have automatic dusk to dawn feature where it stays on all night?
Yes, it does. It has Sunset to Sunrise Light setting.
Wow, this camera is pricey but with all those features it is worth it. Can you adjust the light in Alexa or Siri?
Yes, it's amazing! So, both Alexa and Google, you can control the on/off and brightness of the light (Not the color) But with HomeKit (Siri) the light is not exposed. Hopefully the plugin will bring that over soon too.
I was gonna get this till you said the nighttime motion sensitivity doesn't work. I need something for nights. Some jackass drilled a hole in my gas tank at night and made off with my gas.

Don't all cameras have blind spots? They can't see 360 all at one time. That is why you place multiple cameras covering multiple angles.

Hi Heeru, Unfortunately, you can set it up and use just the camera with USB power but if you want the lights to work, you have to have normal household wiring with constant power. With your garage dusk to dawn lights, it depends on how it's wired and controlled. If there's a switch that controls the dusk to dawn or something along the circuit, then it won't work cause the power to the lights is cut off at that control, but if it is controlled at each light itself, then you should still have full power at all junctions boxes in that circuit. Make sense?
I would need to place the Eufy under an eave right next to a bathroom window which we keep uncovered. Will the activity zone selection allow you to prevent the camera and floodlight from activating every time someone goes to the bathroom?!

What exactly do you mean by live feed not available in the native app? Are you speaking to the alexa app itself (where only my ring cameras are supported in the app as my blink and wyze are not) or are you saying the eufy app does not allow live view?
Hey David, yes I'm talking about the Alexa app itself. The Alexa app can show more than Ring devices (amazon owned) I have Ecobee, Adobe, Switchbot, Wyze v2 cameras that show up live in the Alexa app. My Wyze outdoor does not, nor does any of my Eufys. I'm quite surprised that Blink doesn't either cause it's owned by Amazon. ( I don't have any Blink cams to test)

You're welcome. When you say together, what do you do mean? I have mutiple Eufy cameras and they all work great. You just need to make sure your WiFi can handle it.

No it must be directly wired in.

I don't understand your comment about live feed. Was that only true if you are in the Google or the Alexa ecosystem? I see the Eufy App does have live feed and it appears to work. So what are you talking about?
It's very easy. Don't pick the paragraph apart and hear what you want to hear. Follow the previous sentence. He was talking about the Alexa/Google native apps in that section of the video, not the Eufy native app. That's why he showed the Alexa Show and the Google Hub Screens.
Wish they offered the camera with out lights. They don’t have outdoor ptz without lights.
Yeah, no ptz without lights, but then again, you don't need to use them. I've also seen people install the indoor ptz under an eve.

Yes, I don't see why not. What are your concerns? It's weather rated and if you install it correctly, its not going to go anywhere.
@@ModernDayTech I have a Wyze flood light and having all kinds of issues of bad connections, disconnection, or simply went offline when it was raining. I'm wondering if this Eufy one is all covered around from weather. Both flood lights are also weathered rated.

Thanks for watching. They recommend you to install the Floodlight Cam no higher than 3m(11in) from the ground. The higher you make it, the harder it is to see faces and detail.

Looks like a great light and camera. Do you know if the LED panels are replaceable?
I'm sure it can be done but it's not meant to. They don't sell the panels separately so you'll need donor and electronic skills and knowhow.
Can this camera take a memory card to expand past 8gb?
Cloud or NAS are the only other options. You wouldn't think 16GB isn't much but the video is very compressed where you should get months out of it. 3GB out of 16GB after 2 months for me. 1800 motions recorded.

After having this camera for 2 years it stop connecting to wifi, no matter what I did it still dropping the signal and stay offline.

@@Shane23Armada The new version of the floodlight camera offers 24/7 recording when used with the Homebase 3, which must be wired to your network. You lose the option of 24/7 recording if the HB3 is on your WiFi. The floodlight camera can still be on Wi-Fi but must still be hardwired for electricity. absolutely wont buy it unless i could stream it to ipad via native app and use that as permanent camera. crazy they'd make such an ideal camera and leave that obvious requirement out.
The dumbest thing about it, is.max mount of 9ft high. U take a.broom.and whap it off the wall. This thing needs to be 20ft high, we not all live in a bungalow.
What's the max height install?
Around 8-9' is recommended. If you go higher, you'll lose some of your detection distance.

@@glovedcop69 No, if you mean the housing itself. But it's also something I wouldn't care about. If you mean the lens or plastic protecting the lens, then still no, but I would care about that more as it would fog up my view, but as I said, it hasn't. Nor any of my other Eufy cameras. I live around DC, so the weather is not extreme in either direction for long.

That camera is garbage. After the camera did a software upgrade the new software make the camera unusable. Lose connection, no picture. I had to but buy a different camera after I paid 300$. STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY PRODUCT.
