    I didn't choose art, it chose me. Since the age of 5 I knew I was meant to be an artist and have pursued that passion ever since. I've worked as a graphic designer professionally my entire adult life and have always done abstract art on the side. In mid 2020 I was working on a commissioned piece and was asked if I could make something in the style of pour painting. I had been pinning acrylic pouring/fluid art on Pinterest for a few years but had know idea how to create it. Thanks to the many wonderful artists on TH-cam who were willing to share their creation videos, tips, and tutorials on liquid acrylic painting I was able to start creating work in this style and I wanted to share that experience with you. Make sure to like and subscribe to my channel to follow along my journey of failures and triumphs and see all the fun techniques I try for the first time. There will also be tips and tricks I learn along the way along with easier beginner projects you might want to try at home! Comment below if there’s something you’ve seen that you want me to try I’d love to hear from you!

    What other tips would you like to see me make a video on?

      I know artists like yourself tape the back of the canvas, on the frame BUT how do you stop paint from going onto the back of the actual canvas from your hands 🤦🏽‍♀️ (especially with paint pouring) nobody seems to answer this. P.s hope I have explained it correct. Thank you in advance

      @@njow7586 You are correct I do tape the back of my canvas's. Honestly I really don't have a fix for not getting paint on other parts of the back of the canvas. Most of mine end up with some amount of paint on them. I do wipe my hands frequently though and on smaller canvas's will sometimes put a paper backing on the canvas to make it look more presentable.

      @@njow7586 lol it's definitely not easy to do with pour paint! Are you paintings elevated off the table? Like do you have them sitting on stands of some kind? Also, when I touch them I try to balance the painting more on the under edge as well so I'm not really grabbing it. That helps keep your edges nice too. I think I saw a tool someone posted in a FB group once that helps with tilting. Check it out: amzn.to/3LGILPz

    Hi there, this was the best ever video. I was just wondering if you want to make different shades of the green that you did in this video, do you start with the same color and lighten or darken it? so that the colors work?

    • @ChromaYadi
      @ChromaYadi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much! Yes I absolutely do that for different shades or tints. Just start with a large base and split it into different containers. 😊

    Can you pre mix large amounts of paint with water alone? To have it ready? Does it store well? Or do you have to use flotrol?

    • @ChromaYadi
      @ChromaYadi  ปีที่แล้ว

      For pour painting I always use floetrol as well as water. Water alone will eventually evaporate. I will usually mix everything the day before so the bubbles will settle.

    What color name is the blue that you used?

    • @ChromaYadi
      @ChromaYadi  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm honestly not 100% sure since I made this video so long ago and don't seem to have that exact color still. From what I can tell though it looks like either a pathalo or ultramarine blue.
