I am a retired dictor. I did lots of surgery. Go to a Gastroenterologist when you have time and feel like it.. You had a botched Operation. You probably have adhesions between different parts of your colon and if you have just some gas in there it hurts. I know this because I have adhesions from 2 different botched emergency procedures. I try to not get constipated trough Macrogol and drinking lots of water. And avoid everything that gives me gas, like cabbage, cauliflower, brokkoli etc.and unfortunately legumes. If it is very bad I drink warm water with Olive oil snd lemon. You are doing the best testing for yourself. Do not let anybody operate adhesions, they come back 100%. Good luck

medical trauma is 100% post-tramatic stress. I was diagnosed with PTSD after those experiences because I have a ton of baggage and hesitation around doing physical exertion and sometimes I *really* mentally/emotionally shut down at the onset or duration of pain. with or without autism, you went through something physically traumatic to the body and a good therapist should understand that's inseparable from the mind. and yeah unfortunately people are doing the most just casually listing off a bunch of diagnoses in their twitter bios but hopefully that doesn't make you hesitate or think of your experience as any less real, because it is. you've shared all of it with us. glad to hear it sounds like you're doing a bit better. thanks for your humor and candidness always.
also it's hot as shit here too in America and I cannot wait for fall. I hate being sweaty and love wearing jackets 😊

New therapist required 😮 I’m autistic & have PTSD, only after I started working on it did I feel better, I was stuck for ages. Keep going! Find a therapist who can help you with it ❤

She's good in every other way and she has no problem treating me for trauma either way. It's just this one thing we disagree on.

Do you keep a food diary/ pain dairy to see if you can work out if it is a certain food contributing to your pain?

I stopped eating peas for 5 days and started developing schizophrenic psychosis. Peas have polyphenols that are anti schizophrenic. Having a bad microbiome that doesn't break down oxalates can make it hard to eat plants but there are plants that are low in it that you can handle. My autoimmune problems make it hard for me to handle consuming animal products so I have to eat a plant based diet. In my family we have bipolar disorder that leads to schizoaffective bipolar disorder. Me and my sister are the ones that are the most effected by it.

Alex, may I recommend the elimination diet? It helped me figure out my intolerance, which turned out to be just lactose in my case, but one does not exclude another?

@@alexanderl9721 my pleasure. It helped me figure out some of my pains and aches that I could not figure out for several years. I also went to a functional medicine doctor and we did a full stool analysis (sent it to a lab in the US) and we discovered I had a leaky gut, which can be treated with L-glutamine powder.

You look really well and full of energy today, Alexander. I’m happy the doctors haven’t found something wrong, but I’m sure it’s frustrating not having an answer. Have you noticed any pattern around when you’re not having pain?

Rare steak can constipate( well done steaks too, not that this was the point;)) Iron can give constipation. Broccoli shouldn‘t though. Maybe work out an ideal diet. No need to avoid steak but add enough that helps the intestines with peristaltic movement. Or start with eating like usual but write down what you ate every evening and then do changes and see if it helps. Just to see if it is indeed nutrition related. It sure is a possibility! I‘m glad it‘s no infection, hope you can figure out the cause of the pain!
I‘d change the therapist if you don‘t feel true engagement from therapist‘s side. They should first of all listen to you for a long time and figure out together with you what could help you to feel better and not smashing you down even more with diagnosis and theories, especially when it‘s not what you asked for in the first place. Good luck with everything!

Did you know that autism often comes with gut issues? In order to find out if you are allergic or intolerant to some type of food, you would need to eliminate them, one by one, for at least 2 weeks, perhaps 3. Not just a couple of days. Blood and skin test might help. If you get some indications, you might also check for cross-allergies. (for diagnostics, I'd go to Poland, sooooo much faster and more effective). I don't understand how your therapist is explaining your reaction to your traumatic experiences by being autistic. Having overreactive nervous system? Besides you don't need PTSD diagnosis to benefit from trauma therapy. If you experienced something that changed your way of reacting, really stuck deep and left a scar on your psyche, why not try some treatments that could bring you relief and better functioning? EMDR? Polyvagal? IFS? Check out and see what works for you. Good luck! (man må være sterk for å være syk).

I hope they can at least improve your physical issues. Thinking you have cancer wont help your mental well being either so it needs to be resolved.

Well there does seem to be a coincidence between autism and gender identity disorder, so maybe it is at least slightly related, although probably not the main issue.

Steak moves through the intestines extremely slowly, and can be a cause of colon cancer, inflammation, as well as mucoid plaque. I'd stick with plant based but that's just me. 😉

I have watched yourvideos about your drama experiencing with your surgery. It is abolutely normal that this is affecting your mental health. This psycologist saying that this comes from autism is denying the truth. Truth is, that our medical system can put people in drauma. Not just botched surgeries, even normal surgeries can cause this. Especially when a few things come together in a short period of time, your brain cannot deal with it. This is something that needs to work on, not just saying it is autism and making you responsible for it.

  • @LadyMystie

Alexander... Please consider getting a new therapist. You were misdiagnosed as trans and given a surgery that not only removed your functioning penis, it caused chronic pain that you have to deal with. I am a retired therapist and have zero patience for younger therapists that fear dealing with their patients realities. How very "trendy" to throw significant medical and emotional abuse and trama onto "autism". Keeps therapists and doctors looking ok, right? Anyone would have PTSD that went through what you did. There are ways to help lessen the emotional pain. PLEASE find a therapist who lives in reality. And much love to you. ❤

I'm happy with her in every other way. I'm still receiving treatment for trauma. We just disagree on whether it's ptsd or not.
