    I have learnt more methods from chad in 2 weeks than 2 years at tec. Love the 4 spots, then cool with air before moving on to next spots.

    You are definitely old school. Youth of today have absolutely no idea how to do what you're doing, getting to be a lost art. Thanks for documenting this on a TH-cam. This will be great knowledge years in the future.

    Chad your an impressive craftsman. I’ve learned so much from watching you the last year. You have dissected the art of fabrication in a manageable and easy to under stand system that takes away the fear of GOING FOR IT.
    ITS JUST NUTS AND BOLTS. Nothing to fear

    Consider making the grill an emergency escape hatch. If there's a fire in the back there would be no way to get out now. The Plymouth is looking good so far...amazing work on the quarter panel! Jolene, your camera work is out of this world! Great job both of you!!!

    I have a Ryobi cordless, brushless, variable speed drill I use and it’s great. You can also adjust the torque on it too. Would eliminate switching cords to use. Home Depot sometimes runs sales on them too. 😊

    I just finished 3 months of frame work and body panel work and forming my own panels on my 2007 Ford Ranger. It was my first time doing body work and welding. Looks good but it was a challenge.
    Makes me appreciate how fast and good Chad is at this stuff.
    Jolene really does great camera work. Her shoulders and arms must get tired.
    Sometimes I forget there is someone on the camera and it is like a movie. That is a compliment.

    The 1/4 panel is looking really good Chad and like you said it got much stronger when you added the wheel opening lip. It is amazing how a small piece of metal can add so much support to the panel. This is a good lesson that if you are willing to put the time and effort into the repair it makes a lot more sense to replace the 1/4 rather than trying to patch up an old rotted one. Jolene excellent job of getting all the shots so we can follow exactly what steps Chad is taking to make it look the best possible!

    Hi Chad & Jolene, I wasn't sure myself, not bein real familiar with 50's mopar's, so I Googled pics of the 56 Savoy, and yes, the back part of the lower 1/4 panel is a lot straighter than even what you plan to trim off, it even extends a lil below the bumper, take a look if ya really wanna "restore" the original look, luv ya's 😊

    You got it fitting so good to what they had. I don't know leave good enough alone. maybe when you cut off the other side. it's more original then you can make a decision?

  • @larryparrish7780
    @larryparrish7780 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    since you are making both quarter panels, I really like the clean look you made on the right side around the wheel well. The lip on the front is good, but the low almost square wheel well looks great with a smooth look. Keep going, you have our attention. Maybe a wheel cover could be added by someone and the bottom could follow the quarter panel bottom line (like the old T-Birds & Bonneville)

  • @kevinhamling1963

    The quarter panel is coming together .
    But the Bugatti hauler is looking awesome. You must be dreaming about welding your doing so much of it. If you start sleep walking Jolene's gunna know exactly where to find you. 😅
    So thanks for sharing another great video. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia .
