6:23 George at Strezov sampling said there were “adaptive releases” for any time you end your note(s) within the contours. Are the releases added with the reverb, I’m curious? Because George definately demonstrated playing different natural note lengths in his walkthrough.
@@StrezovSampling I get the idea behind this beautiful library, simplicity with no need of midi modulation. But please, it sounds so gorgeous that it would be a huge shame not to update Contours with a real full sustain patch, at least for the sul tasto, your favorite 😉 ! Great insights into this new library Tim! This is indeed a great and inspiring library. Other companies such as 8Dio introduced the same concept a while ago with one of their librairies. I think to achieve this level of freedom in the arcs may be tricky to programme… anyway I got it and I love the way you can shape your music into what you want. There are some limitations and need to spend time crafting each note if you want that realism feel. I am experimenting with block chords and movement between the notes then assign each notes to the strings section, lots of fun!
Tokyo Scoring strings 2 coming in a few weeks, going to be one of the best. Strezov is awesome too. i really want their Darbuka to use with a midi hand drum. would be awesome. I have their library Freja already. very good sounds
Personally didn't like the tone of TSS 1. The demoes on VI Control for TSS 2 are promising, but still don't like the tone as much. The library I'm looking forward to the most is Vista II by Performance Samples.
I feel it ended too soon or the sound fade too soon than you would normally want it to be... To shorten the release or sustain its easy but to lengthen it, it is not so. I wish developers listens to these suggestions and implement them in their future updates.

No we have actual releases, which get amplified further with the reverb we added. They work together seamlessly. 🙂
