RX11 review: I try all new features
izotope has released RX11 and for recording.de I use the latest version of the restoration tool and check all new features and listen to the result.
For me it is the ultimate audi restoration tool. There are tools, which have less moduls and can do some things better. But RX has A LOT included. I love Mouth-declick, De-Click, De-Crackle, Dialog-Isolate, Phase, Spectra-Repair, De-Clip, De-hum, De-plosive, De-rustle. What are your go-to moduls?

How much do you like the new features?
It's not really a review when you show some features and ask us what we think.
Did you not hear my opinion? What Kind of information is missing for your own decision?
@@timheinrichenglish8782 I saw a couple of opinions on processes, but no opinion about on overall question of "The ultimate solution for audio restoration?"
Crazy, because I guess I am the only one showing 'Loudness Optimize' and 'Dialogue Contour' with audio examples, compare Repair Assistant to Dialog Isolate... This takes a lot of time. But you prefer my opinion whether you should buy it or not? No 'Thank you for the time and the examples'? Better quick and dirty? Hm, crazy. Here is the answer, just for you. For ME it is the ultimate audi restoration tool. There are tool, which have less moduls and can do some things better. But RX has A LOT included. You are a great composer, well done.
Thank you
All of this kind of cello's libraries don't come with that peculiar cello noise that sounds like a "breath", that noise makes the cello so alive, nobody realises that. It is like the squeak sound of a guitar but more deep.
Thank you! really helpful
You are welcome.
I made a quick macro that changes the grid the shuffle, then deletes selected event then returns to grid snap, then make the key command + delete and its a life saver
Wow, that is a great idea.
So I cant use the first plugin in FL-Studio right?
Yes, you can. You got to own Kontakt full version.
what if i only just want to have 1 single note fade of the chord out? was mach ich denn?
Hi Robyn, duplicate the Track and edit the one note.
🎉yoooo good job brother ❤
Thank you guy.
I compared this to Tina Guo and prefered this. Awesome free instrument. We're lucky, with this!
Sounds great.
That u can have all these instruments virtually is just totally insane
Even more insane is that u can "rent-to-own" it for supercheap on splice - I was getting a MiniFreak, until I noticed this plugin set and just went with a Arturia MIDI controller instead - the value! Unreal..
Yes, we live in great times.
All a Beautiful Software
On point
Grande!Grazie from Italy ❤

that's cool , thank you
You are welcome. Thank you for the feedback.
Kontakt is pissing me off, everything is harder then it is supposed to be.
Which topic or example?
@@timheinrichenglish8782 Im using it with Edna Earth by Spitfire- this plugin it self is complicated... some issues i've been facing i end up dealing with them but only after some minutes and google searches... i hate complicated software with long learning curves
So basically, Nuendo = Cubase+ As far as I'm aware, if you're composing/writing music, there's no reason to spend the extra $$ for Nuendo (some of the best composers including Hanz Zimmer use Cubase), but if you're also into the technical aspect of things like mixing, editing, using Avid Hardware (which is amazing bcuz I hate Pro Tools) or especially game audio implementation, some features in Nuendo could be invaluable. But also if you have Nuendo there's no reason to get Cubase, other than cheaper annual upgrades. It really comes down to what you're using it for.
You are totally right. On point.
Nice video! Hey I think you can set the Musical Mode for a sample/clip directly in the Info-Line... just select the clip in the project window and look at the Info-Line near the top of the screen..., and then click once under Musical Mode and it will set it to "Musical" and VOILÀ!... no need to open the sample editor or the pool! Not sure if you can do this for multiple clips simultaneously though, I'm not at my Cubase desk right now to try it. Have a good day!
Hi Danswr, you are totally right. I did not show all ways of the length of the Video. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Tim - I have Roland PK-5A MIDI bass pedals that I intend to use (as a controller) with my Korg Kronos 2. My question is how can I assign a particular bass sound preset from my Kronos’ sound bank to the MIDI bass pedals, while simultaneously being able to play an entirely different sound on my Kronos? I hope this is not too complex a question for this forum!!! Thanks so much for your help!!
For this you got to create a COMBI. i Show this and much more in my Video course.
Would be nice if Exporting Slices could be done directly from Groove Agent.
They can be. Drag and drop your loop into Groove Agent and hit the slice button. All the slices are automatically assigned to a their own pad.
@@deandouglas839 sorry, I meant exporting each slice as an audio file. It can be done with Halion though.

So I'm wondering... is it literally using FFMPEG or is it just LIKE FFMPEG? Is it just a gui for FFMPEG or is it isn't own program?
It is a own program, no GUI

Picked it up recently, lots to like about it but would love to see a sequencer in it. To much time spent scrolling through midi files hoping to hit on something that suits. Also when you drag and drop the midi file into your daw it print all the group midi even when you have unloaded them from the patch. It sounds good and has lots of potential but it's not there for me yet.
Why do you want to have a sequencer in the Instrument? I like to try a MIDI file with different kits.
@@timheinrichenglish8782 as an original idea generator, I can program my own basic rhythm and export them/drag to timeline and further edit there. It'd be useful to me for sketching over an existing melody. Failing that it'd be handy for the drag tool to only export the loaded groups midi data instead of exporting the entire midi clip (export currently includes unloaded groups I think), so I don't have to mess around deleting notes (that were unloaded) on the piano roll in my daw. Hope that makes sense!

What is the best way to connect a iPad Pro with a USB-C to the Kronos in order to play an iPad app like king of digital or other iOS iPad musical app? Is it possible to use the Kronos as the midi keyboard controller?
Last questions: I guess 'no'.
Any ideas why this would not work in Cubase 13? I've been trying to convert certain x264 mp4 videos, that don't open into something that would, without success. Initially, C13 was super tolerant regarding mp4 videos, and now it seems next to impossible to import anything.
Just in case anyone is here looking for answers. Some of the files that didn't open were a gameplay recording, which surprisingly turned out to be 36 FPS, and a gameplay video recorded using Nvidia's Shadowplay. The latter was 30fps originally, which should work, but didn't. Converting that with Shutter Encoder to h.264 (which both already were, no kidding), and forcing into 60fps made Cubase happily open all of the videos.
Thank very much me ajudou muito com um problema que tive na rom i rcorded 😃👏👏👏👈👈

Hey Tim, Is it possible to loop a sample and trigger it “on” and “off” with a foot pedal?? I’m a bassist, and I’m looking to trigger song samples remotely by foot. Thanks so much!!!!
I don't know. Now that I have quite a few instruments that create ambient soundscapes, this doesn't seem to offer much new. It actually reminds me a lot of some e.g. Rigid Audio's (surprisingly) libraries that are a fraction of the cost. Also, it sounds to me that putting Dawesome Love on the FX channel with some orchestral instruments as kontakt multi would create a very similar effect that you get with this one. Any thoughts on this? Am I missing something here? You've probably tested these a lot more than me, so I'm open to being wrong.
Have not owned any Rigid Audio library. You could be right. This library is for easy going.
You saved me on a really tight project. Thank you so much for this heaven sent video!
