I don't even have words for this library (other than pls god my wallet) but wanted to say that this video came at the perfect time, been stuck in video mode and need to get back into some composing gigs and this was just such an inspiring session to watch.
Dan, from the very first time I viewed your videos on Spitfire Audio (several years ago) you have been such an inspiration to me and the music I compose and create. I just wanted to say THANK YOU! and i hope for the very best for you in your music career, as you have been such an OUTSTANDING resource for many of us who love music and love to create music for the world and ourselves. Godspeed!
Simply glorious, Dan - the two libraries go together so well and sound quite simply stunning. evocative and beautiful in the piece you wrote and played here. Keep up the good work! Very best regards!
Brilliant work Dan. Your latest library is poetry in motion. The midi fader controller is by Viper Synths 'Harmony'. Designed for controlling orchestration libraries.
Man, sitting here thinking of what I need to get done next, and now it will ALL have to wait 20 minutes as the alert just hit! Let’s GO. Thank you Dan!
I finally took the plunge and bought Petrichor, and watched your video for inspiration - it's lovely that you build in layers without thinking too much about it... and actually, I don't think you've even mentioned musical structure such as keys, modes, time signature etc - perhaps that's my takeout from this. Just let it flow, start creating, and if you have to understand it later, then by all means reverse engineer to music theory... but you won't get there if you don't create something in the first place!
Just beautiful. I have quite a number of SI string libraries which I love, but for some reason Soft Strings is always at the top of my template. I expect Petrichor will be right there next to it
I bought these both marvellous banks after the video. I used the trick (pitch) and the same patch (solo earth with full ensemble patch) for this incredible sub bass, but I didn't have the same sound (it's the solo earth , a moving sound, but not this quite sub moog). Did you make a treatment ? Thanks
Hey Dan 👋 always happy to see you work (and do these timed challenges!). Your 20 minute piece sounds beautiful. I completely agree, the sub bass waves are like glue to the whole piece, or it's the umami flavor that was missing to the whole dish! Love it. Btw, what is the brand of your fader box? Looks exactly what I'm looking for atm 😅
Great piece and awesome skills of course, but I would like to request that you explain at least a little bit what you are doing harmonically and so on in these videos. Otherwise it's just watching you play and advertise your products.
Lots of you are asking! That control surface is the Viper Synths Harmony. You can get 10% off with code PETRICHOR at www.dan.vipersynths.com

I cant stop listening to this library. Some of your best work yet on this product Dan. Stunningly beautiful and emotive.
Too kind, thank you. This library definitely has an allure to it
I am curious @DanKeenMusic, are you counting bars in your head or do you have a click in your headphones?

Dan, This beautiful composition reminds me a bit of "The Bat Pt 2" from the Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays album "Offramp". Nicely done.
You grabbed the ear of this old Rocker. Awesome sounds.

What's that first 5 second clip all about?
I wanted to show that I was only using 3 libraries, but to do that I had to hide all of my other products. It’s very clunky to do 😅
@@DanKeenMusic Ahhh! Hahaha. Great vid, all the same!

What's the point of your headline, I'm wondering, apart from the fact that you want clicks
