Your coaster turned out beautiful. What a great Christmas gift to make with grandchildren who are older. I appreciate you taking the time to show us how to make them. i like this version how to apply, i have seen this way many times before. it is easy and faster. love the coasters ideas, you can pretty much do this on anything unless it has curves like a vase or something like that. when i first watch this method last year or so, the iron they used was the little one which makes it easy to use, i ended up buying one for down the road.

Jody, your coasters look lovely. If you want them to look a little more natural you can wet a paint brush and go round the coaster and then tear them around the wet line it looks a lot more natural than cutting scissors, it blends into your paint much better and they are so easy to tear, the wet line stops them tearing in the wrong place, especially if you are decoupaging a bigger piece it looks beautiful, just remember if you are doing a larger piece, to put your mod podge or whatever you are using across a piece of it then lay your paper down and do it bit by bit and less is more with your mod podge on a bigger piece. You can also scrunch up a piece of plastic wrap or a little sandwich bag and push it along the paper to smooth it out and it gets rid of most of the creases but on some pieces the creases in your paper make it look good. You did an awesome job on your coasters, especially as it’s your first time doing it. I love decoupaging on lots of things now I’ve got used to it. I did a wood round the other day and I don’t know what planet I was on but when I’d finished it looked beautiful, no creases or bubbles and I’d used scrapbooking paper, the last one I had like it and it was a match to another one I’d made for my granddaughter and I immediately stuck a rub on transfer smack bang in the middle and when I pulled the plastic layer off the transfer it obviously wasn’t ready to come off it ripped all the scrapbooking paper, I could have cried as they were part of a housewarming gift for my granddaughter and her partner for their first home together. Oh well, guess mistakes happen. Sorry for the long comment Jody, hope you had a great weekend. I have to catch up with a lot of your videos as I’ve been missing of TH-cam for a few months. I think it’s going to take me a while lol.

What a great gift idea now people are using small ones in the car I'd like to get the stuff for both sizes
Oh my How Beautiful they are it's funny because I had gotten some to do this a bit back, mine didn't come with the cork stuff you put on the back but I do have those sheets of cork DT has can just cut them out, I even found some Holders for them on Temu, now instead of doing the Decoupage normally, I can do that n use the iron, Yes lol, so those will make Really nice presents, for Folks, They Really are Pretty n so many things you can us the napkins on, making my granddaughters Jewelry Boxes, I'm Decoupaging them, I found quit a bit of the wooden Jewelry Boxes a few years back at the DT, There pretty good size, I have 6 granddaughters one grandson lol, so I'm thinking as to what I can do one for him looking for a guy type napkin, he is 13, so ya, Bless his heart he hasn't to contend with all these girls lol. I do mine with material
Have you tested these for heat resistance like with a coffee cup or with a glass with ice in it that would make the coaster wet
The sealer I used is made for auto, motor cycles, engine parts and such. So if your coffee is under 500 degrees it should be fine.
Do you think you can use this technique with the shiny tiles?
I haven't tried it yet, but I don't see why not.
Could you do glossy photos of family members on them or say your pets then would you mod Podge on top or just spray again hmm
